BAUMAN, Alvin R. Died peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at the age of 95 years. Husband of the late Anna (Martin) Bauman (2014). Father of Orvie and Salema Bauman of RR 3, Ariss, Irene and Donald Martin of RR 2, Clifford, (the late Edgar) and Verna Bauman of RR 3, Listowel, Verna and Paul Bauman of RR 2, Drayton, Earl and Almeda Bauman of St Jacobs. Survived by 33 grandchildren and 80 great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Helen (Mrs. Irvin) Bauman and Samuel and Melvina Martin. Step-brother of Alice (Mrs. Noah) Weber and stepbrother-in-law of Melinda (Mrs. Clayton) Brubacher. He was predeceased by his parents Ezra and Magdalena (Reist) Bauman, step-father Israel Brubacher, sons Lester (in infancy) and Edgar (2009), three great-grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, three stepbrothers and five stepsisters. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, Also viewing will take place on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 1-6 p.m. at the home, 2990 Sawmill Rd., St. Jacobs, where a family service will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018, then to Martin's Mennonite Meeting House, Waterloo, for burial and further service. www.dreisingerfuneralhome.com

Father of Andrew and Cynthia Bauman of R.R. 1, Palmerston, Bernice Bauman at home, Frances and Brian Bowman of R.R. 2, Gorrie, Laura, Philip, and Richard Bauman all at home. Also survived by two grandchildren. Son of Alvin and Anna Bauman. Brother of Orvie and Salema Bauman, Irene and Donald Martin, Verna and Paul Bauman, and Earl and Almeda Bauman. Predeceased by his brother Lester in infancy. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday from 6: 00-8: 00 p.m., and on Tuesday from 1: 00-4: 30 and 6: 00-8: 00 p.m. at his home, 8694 Perth Line 86, R.R. 3, Listowel. A family service will be held at his home on Wednesday, October 28th at 9: 00 a.m., then to Brotherston Mennonite Meeting House for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
