    JOSEPH S. ALBRECHT

    A retired farmer from Mornington Township, Joseph S. Albrecht, 88, died Sunday at the home of his son Henry at R.R. 1 Millbank. He had been ill for five months. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Albrecht, he was born January 12, 1868, in Wilmot Township. He was a member of the Amish Mennonite faith.

    His wife, the former Magdalena Zehr, predeceased him in 1936. He is survived by five sons, Noah, Henry, Amos and Eli, all of Millbank, and Joseph of Linwood; one daughter, Mrs. Elan (Lydia) Horst of Newton; one brother, Daniel of Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Christian (Barbara) Herrfort of Newton and Mrs. Alfred (Christina) Bell of Kitchener; 32 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Two sisters and four brothers predeceased him.

    BOSSENCE, Mrs. Magdalena (Lena) 1991 On Sunday, June 16, 1991, at Palmerston General Hospital, Lena Bossence, of 23 Albert St., Ayton and formerly of Peffers. She was born in Mornington township 87 years ago, a daughter of the late John S. Albrecht and the former Magdalena Roth. Beloved wife of Thomas Alexander Bossence who predeceased her November 3, 1968. Lovingly remembered by her children, Vera and her husband Edwin Friedmann, Carol and her husband Gerry Wing, all of Linwood, Barbara and her husband Colonel Schneider, Lloyd and his wife Betty Bossence, Vivian Greenley, all of Arthur, Shirley and her husband Fred Fischer of Cambridge, Dianne and her husband Gerry Boeve of Ayton. Sadly missed by one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Nora (Allan) Rogers of Waterloo; 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Lena was predeceased by one son, John; two brothers, Jacob and John and two sisters, Katie (Mrs. Dan Brenneman) and Barbara Albrecht. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 9 Pacifica Ave. Milverton, after 2 p.m. Tuesday and until Wednesday, where the funeral service will be held at 1: 30 p.m., with Rev. Neil Lackey officiating. Interment in Greenwood cemetery, Milverton. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

He was the son of the late Joseph S. Albrecht and the former Lena Zehr. he farmed at RR 1, Millbank, retiring 22 years ago. Beloved husband of the former Katie Lichty of Newton; dear father of Harvey of RR 1, Milverton; Reuben of RR 1, Millbank, Edna (Mrs. William Wagler) of Newton, Lydia (Mrs. John Schmidt) of RR 1, Wallenstein and Barbara (Mrs. Jacob Schmidt) of Newton; brother of Amos Albrecht of Millbank. Also survived by 36 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by four sons, one sister and three brothers. Visitation at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Reuben Albrecht of RR 1, Millbank. Funeral service will be conducted at the home on Friday, Jan. 7, 1983 at 1 p.m. Bishop Joseph K. Jantzi will officiate. Interment in the Seventh Line Amish Mennonite Cemetery, Wellesley Township.

Also survived by her brother Edward and his wife Sarah Albrecht of RR 3, Monkton.

    Lavina was predeceased by children, Emmanuel and Edith, both in infancy and a sister, Lena Robb.

Ruby will always be remembered for baking pies, donuts, coffee cakes and hosting large dinners with family and friends. She had adored her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed spending time at the cottage, fishing and playing board games, especially Aggravation. She was a member of Crosshill Mennonite Church and Women's Sewing Circle. She had a love for quilting and quilted one for each of her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by many. Bill had retired from farming in Crosshill, driving school bus and as a milk truck driver for Millbank Cheese and Butter. A remarkable man with a fierce loyalty to his family and friends. Unique and mischievous, he made many laugh at his jokes and pranks over the years. He loved life, so much and found much joy in planning each and every day. Beloved mother of Mervin (Miriam), Miriam (Harold Jantzi), Allan (Susan), Levi -predeceased (Clara), Lorne (Ruthann), Esther (Sam Streicher), Sam (Mary Ann), Marie (James Streicher), Catherine (Norman Streicher), Ezra (Barbara), Dan (Ruth), Ivan (Mabel) Peter (Judy), Ken (Christena). Lovingly remembered by her 53 grandchildren and 88 great grandchildren. Ruth is the last surviving of her siblings. She will be remembered by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in law; Sam Kuepfer, Marie Kuepfer, Christena Kuepfer, Elmina Kuepfer, Clara Zehr and by her many nieces and nephews.

    Ruth was predeceased by 1 son Levi, a daughter Mary in infancy, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and by her many in laws.

    Ruth was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

    Relatives and friends are invited to the house of Peter and Judy Kuepfer, 4019 Line 67, Millbank, on Wednesday, March 15 from 1:00 p.m. until Thursday, March 16 at 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 17 at 9:30 a.m. with Bishop Ezra Zehr officiating. Interment to take place in the 7th Line Amish Church Cemetery, Wellesley Township.

    Passed away at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton on Monday, April 20, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Allan was born in Mornington Township, a son of the late Elam Horst and former Lydia Albrecht. Loving husband of the late Emma Horst (nee Kipfer). Dear father of Marlene and husband Wesley Martin of RR # 4 Listowel and Grandfather of Katrina and Wendell. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Salome Habegger of Kentucky, Joseph and Ada Horst, Mahlon and Bev Horst, all of Milverton, Samuel and Susan Horst, Reuben and Kathleen Horst, Nelson Horst, John and Martha Horst, Clayton and Erma Horst, all of Tennessee, William and Ingrid Horst of RR #1 Brunner, Henry and Julia Horst, Ivan and Ruthann Horst, all of Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by a brother-in-law Edward Habegger and sister-in-law Eva Horst. Allan is also remembered by the Kipfer Family and many nieces and nephews.

    Allan was a Building Inspector for the Township of Wellesley where he had been employed prior to his retirement. He was a member of Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship and enjoyed fixing cream separators as his hobby.

    Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. The funeral service will take place at Countryside Mennonite Fellowship, Hawkesville on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.. Interment in Hillside Cemetery.
