Sadly we announce the passing of Edith on August 6, 2018 at Columbia Forest LTC Waterloo, formerly of Baden and Sarasota, Florida, born and raised in Tavistock, Edith married Kenneth Gingerich in 1941 celebrating 73 years of marriage before his death in 2014. She loved her family, calligraphy and reading. She will be greatly missed by two daughters, Karen (Ward) Zehr, Linda (John) Michalofsky, grandchildren Drew (Nancy) Zehr, Shelley (Steve) Wan-Zehr, Melissa (Gary) Dagostino, Jody Michalofsky (Jody Kuntz), Jessica (Jamie) Weber, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Edith is survived by her brother John (Lorna) Roth, sister-in-laws Leona Steinman, Elaine Cressman, Betty Gingerich, brother-in-laws Richard (Dorothy) Gingerich. Sister-in-law Jean Gingerich.

Predeceased by parents Aaron and Gertrude (Ruby) Roth, sister Grace & Johnny Stere, brothers Harley Roth and Glenn Roth, sister-in-laws Ruby (Walter) Hammer, Miriam (Carl) Oesch, Myra Gingerich and brother-in-laws Willard Gingerich, Len Cressman and Ray Gingerich.

Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Thursday August 9, 2018 from 6 \endash 9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, August 10, 2018 in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Mark Lewis officiating. Interment in Steinmann Mennonite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St Andrews Presbyterian Church would be appreciated (Cheques Accepted).
