SNYDER, George Donald - Passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at Forest Heights Long Term Care, at the age of 77. Loving husband of Ruth (nee Pflug) Snyder for 48 years. Dear father of Chris Snyder (Kevin White) and Don Snyder and his wife Patty all of Kitchener. Papa to Nicole, Barry, Jacqueline and Tyler. Dear brother of Mary Bennett of Beamsville and Griffith (Griff) Snyder (Mary) of Kitchener. George will be remembered by many nieces and nephews and his sister-in-law, Eleanor Snyder (Al McKee). Special cousin to Connie Lacey (Bill) of St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Ida (nee Gieger) Snyder and his brother, David G. Snyder and brother-in-law, Ross Bennett. George was the owner and operator of George Snyder Septic for many years. The family of George Snyder will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 10-10: 45 a.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service 11 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2008 in the chapel of the funeral home followed by a reception. Pastor Gary Knarr officiating. Interment First Mennonite Cemetery, Kitchener. SNYDER, Griffith Arthur Passed away on May 18, 2010 at Trinity Village Care Centre, in Kitchener, at age 75. Beloved husband of Mary Snyder (nee Heinrichs). Dear father of Laurel and her husband Waldo Penner, Trevor Snyder and Katrina Snyder. Loving grandfather of Harrison, Gareth, Reise and William Penner. Brother of Mary Bennett. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Ida (nee Geiger) and brothers David and George Snyder. Griff started out his career as a mechanic at a Studebaker garage, then moved on to Forbes and Charterways. He later retired from Al's Cartage. Griff's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener (519)749-8467. A memorial service will be offered in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2010.
