    MAKCROW, Thelma - 1919-2009 - Makcrow, Thelma Rose Marie- at the Golden Years Nursing Home on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Charles C. Makcrow (2001) and beloved mother of Sandra Poulton; Richard and wife Heather of Cambridge; Jim of Kitchener; and Susan Kehl and husband Richard of Seaforth. Dear grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Sandy, son-in-law Ted Poulton and by her brother Ken Boshart and her parents Bertha and Moses Boshart. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge where the family will receive friends on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the funeral home chapel on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 10: 30 a.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery. Pastor David Courey officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Saint Luke's Place Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

    Boshart, Kenneth - Passed away,at St. Mary's Hospital. On Sunday, April 11, 1999, after a brief illness, at the age of 78 years. He was born February 2, 1921, a son of the late Moses Boshart and former Bertha Egerdee. Beloved husband of the late Irene Marie Boshart (nee Kurt), who predeceased him in 1977. Loving father of Bill and Sharon of New Dundee, Linda Pierce and her friend Greg of Edmonton, Russ of Kitchener, Dan and Janet of RR 2, Baden and Shirley Gardner and her friend Dan of British Columbia. Sadly missed by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by one sister, Thelma Makcrow of Cambridge. Kenneth served overseas in the Second World War and was a member of the 12th Field Regiment Association. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener, 742-4881 on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m., Rev. Brian Wilker officiating. Internment Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 8-412 River Rd.     MAKCROW, James

    Peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 64 years of age. James is reunited with his wife, Sandra Helen Molson. Loving father to Kim Wolfe and her husband Robert, and Tracy Lukits and her husband Greg. Cherished grandfather to Cassidy, Chloe, Allison Wolfe and Brett Lukits. He will be sadly missed by his brother, Richard, his wife Heather; his sisters, Susan Kehl, her husband Richard, and Sandra Poulton and friends. James is predeceased by his parents, Thelma and Charles Makcrow. Relatives and friends may visit at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home (51 Benton St., Kitchener) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at 11 a.m. Following James wishes cremation will take place. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the nursing staff at Freeport Hospital.

    BOSHART, Daniel

    Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Grand River Hospital, Freeport Campus after a lengthy battle with cancer. Dan was born 70 years ago in Wilmot Township, Ontario, a son of the late Kenneth and Irene (Kurt) Boshart.

    Devoted and loving husband of Janet (Siebert) Boshart, who predeceased him on March 4, 2021. Cherished father of Holly and her husband Jason Plein. Cherished and devoted Poppi of Joshua and Miles Plein. Dan will be forever remembered and missed by his brothers, sisters, and spouses; Bill & Sharon Boshart, Linda and Greg Coats, Russ Boshart and Shirley Boshart, and by his many nieces, nephews and friends. God father of Jeff Pauli and Kayla Craig.

    Dan was a proud and devoted hockey Poppi, cheering on his grandsons at every game he was able to attend. Dan cherished the name Poppi and devoted much of his time to being a role model in their lives. Dan loved his gardens and enjoyed gardening, canning his famous and delicious pickles, tomato juice and his amazing apple sauce. Dan was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed travelling with his beloved Janet and friends. Dan was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg. Dan was a lifelong resident of Wilmot Township.

    Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Monday, February 13, 2023 for a time of visiting from 10:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. The funeral service for Dan will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Leanne Darlington officiating. Cremation to follow with interment in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg at a later date. For those unable to attend the service in person a livestream link will be available on the funeral home website.
