Former Elmira Lady Dead.

There died at Fisherville on Sunday night, Martha Margaret Eix, Wife of, Rev. S. B. Eix, and second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ruppel, sr., of Elmira. Deceased had been ailing for years, but bore her suffering with Christian resignation. She leaves besides her sorrowing husband, her aged parents, two sisters, six brothers, a large circle of other relatives and many friends of her earlier years when she was yet at home in Elmira, who mourn her early death. Her remains will be brought to Elmira and will be laid to rest in Elmira Union Cemetery on Thursday afternoon. A funeral service will be held in St. Pauls church.

Notes:

The remains of Miss Elsie Vetter, adopted daughter of Rev. Sol. Eix of Fisherville, were brought to Elmira last Monday from Hamilton, where she died during an operation that was performed on her in the hospital there, and were interred in the Union cemetery the following day. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Graupner.
