Marjorie passed away at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, aged 77. Predeceased by her husband Wayne in 2008.

Survived by her children: Ron Thompson and his wife Terrie, Lisa Sinclair and her husband Greg, and five grandchildren: Ashley, Jason, Stephanie, Melanie and Kyle.

Sister in-law of Ann Strassburger, Kevin (Audrey) Thompson, Karen (Bob) Sykes, and Kay (Norm) Johnson.

Also predeceased by her parents Morgan and Estella Strassburger, brother Dennis Strassburger, brothers-in-law Doug Kurt and Robert Thompson, sisters-in-law Marion Thompson and Helen Thompson.

Marjorie was a life member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Kitchener.

The family received friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton, at Church Street, Kitchener, on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service took place on Friday, November 16, 2012 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 49 Queen Street North, Kitchener at 11:00 a.m.

Albert passed away surrounded by his family, after his courageous battle with heart and lung disease, on Friday at St. Mary's Hospital, aged 74. Husband of Nancy (nee Stevens) Strassburger for 53 years.

Father of Kathy Strassburger (Lorell Reoch), Christine Smith (Andy) all of Waterloo and Derek Strassburger (Shari) of Kitchener. Grandfather of Jason Ford, Justin and Jessica Smith and Nicholas and Cameron Strassburger, Brandon and Alysia Reoch.

Brother of Morgan (Grace), Audrey Arnold, Barbara (Dave) Main, Eleanor (Dieter) Herkert, Ruby Kurt (Larry), Karon Strassburger (Lorraine), Clifford (Kathy), Robert (Janice) and Debbie (Tom) Sperling.

Brother-in-law of Anne Strassburger, Jim Stevens (Sharon) and Wayne Stevens (Pat). Remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Pre-deceased by his brother Dennis (2010) and his sister Marjorie (Wayne) Thompson (2012) and his parents Morgan and Estella (nee Luft) Strassburger.

Albert was a former owner of Strassburger Windows and Doors. He had a long time involvement with Guelph Royalaires Drum and Bugle Corp, the Ventures Drum and Bugle Corp. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

Albert's family received family and friends at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 49 Queen Street North, Kitchener from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. A celebration of Albert's life service was conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the church with Pastor Mark Ehlebracht officiating. It was followed by a reception at the church. Cremation had taken place.

Karon passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with C.J.D. on Thursday, aged 70. Beloved best friend and soulmate of Laraine Burley for 30 years.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Karon was a long time member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She retired from Lear Seating after 33 years of service.

Her family received relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The funeral service took place in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 followed by a reception. Pastor Mark Ehlebracht officiated.

STRASSBURGER, Dennis It is with deep sadness to announce the sudden passing of Dennis Strassburger on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at the age of 61. Born in Kitchener, Dennis was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Anne of 41 years and a hero to his children Dana Strassburger and his partner David Hoyles and Brad Strassburger and his wife Jill. Dennis was predeceased by his parents Morgan and Estella Strassburger. He will be missed by his father and mother-in-law Patrick and Kathleen Dolan and his brother-in-law John Dolan and his partner Janice Chamberlain. Dear brother of Marjorie Thompson, Morgan Strassburger (Grace), Albert Strassburger (Nancy), Audrey Arnold, Barb Main (Dave), Eleanor Herkert (Dieter), Ruby Kurt (Larry Schmuck), Clifford Strassburger (Kathy), Karon Strassburger (Loraine Burley), Robert Strassburger (Jan), and Deborah Sperling (Tom) as well as many nieces and nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his brothers-in-law Doug Kurt and Wayne Thompson. Dennis and his brothers Morgan Jr., Albert, Clifford and Robert worked side by side with their father Morgan Sr. in the operation of Strassburger Insulation. For the last several years, Dennis and Bob have been co-owners of Strassburger Windows and Doors. Dennis was very proud of his accomplishments with the business, his family and his community involvement. There was nothing more important to Dennis than his family and their happiness. He was always able to bring a smile to anyone's face with his wonderful sense of humour and positive outlook on life. The family of Dennis Strassburger will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish prayers 8: 30 p.m. on Sunday evening. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home at 9: 20 a.m. on Monday, November 8, 2010 followed by procession to St. Anthony Daniel R.C. Church, 29 Midland Dr., Kitchener for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Fr. Earl Talbot officiating. Cremation to follow.
