DIETRICH, Donald Louis Surrounded by his family, Don passed away suddenly on Monday, March 21, 2016 at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, at age 82. Beloved husband of Joan (Brutzki) for 60 years. Loving father of Brad Dietrich (Sue Kohli) and Susan Dietrich. Cherished grandpa of Lisa Foerster (Luke) and Kevin Dietrich (Cassie). Loving Papa of Ava and Travis Foerster. Brother of Jean Thomas and brother-in-law of Sandra Horst (Mahlon). Also sadly missed by his nephew David Dietrich (Bernice), their son Matthew and several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Bill and his wife Betty Dietrich. Don was a long-term employee of Clemmer Industries Ltd. and W.K. Dahms Manufacturing Ltd. Those who knew Don will remember him as an avid train enthusiast who loved his family and was always willing to help a neighbour. A memorial reception will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. Condolences for the family and donations to the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital (Vascular Surgery) or Grand River Regional Cancer Centre may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
