    Notes:

    Mr. & Mrs. John Randall will have the sympathy of the community in their sudden loss of their eldest son, Simon, who died at Baden at the home of his wife's parents on Tuesday. Deceased was with his parents here last week leaving for Baden the latter part of the week. He had been feeling unwell for about two weeks but no serious results were feared until a couple of days ago. Cause of death was the blood turning to water. The remains will be interred in Elmira Union Cemetery on Thursday afternoon.

    Of the Golden Years Nursing Home, on Friday, February 24th., 1989, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Clara Knox. Dear step-father of Lola (Mrs. Ede Hughes) of Woodstock, lovingly remembered by two step-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Pearl Bender of Brampton and 2 nieces. Predeceased by his first wife Ethel Wing, in 1962. Mr. Randall was born in Baden and was a resident of Cambridge, for a great number of years. He was a retiree of Bennett City Garage, member of the Preston Masonic Lodge No. 297 A.F. & A.M. and a veteran of the 1st. World War. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Monday, February 27th., 1989, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment in Hagey Cemetery, Cambridge.
