    MRS. JOSEPH BRUNK

    Ill for the past four weeks, Mrs. Joseph Brunk, 243 Wilmot street, died at St. Mary's Hospital yesterday in her 82nd year. A widow of the late Joseph Brunk she was born in Wellesley township in August 1858. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John Everatt of Waterloo and Mrs. Joseph K. Bast, Kitchener, 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at one o'clock from her late residence, 243 Wilmot street to the Amish Mennonite church in St. Agatha, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Please omit flowers.

    ROTH, Amanda-Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 27, 1983, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Mrs. Benjamin Roth, of Nithview Nursing Home, New Hamburg and formerly of RR 1, Wellesley, Amanda was born in Wilmot township, 84 years ago.

    She was the daughter of the late John Everatt and the late Catherine Brunk and a lifelong member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church.
    Beloved mother of Nelson of Baden, Milford of RR 1, New Hamburg, Elton of RR 1, Millbank, Harold of Stratford, Willard of RR 1, Coldwater, Beulah (Mrs. John Wagler) of London, Ont., Hilda (Mrs. Raymond McEwin) of St. Clements and Pearl (Mrs. Mahlon Roes) of Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by her brother, Sydney Everatt of Stratford; her sisters, Seleda (Mrs. Lorne Kropf) of Kitchener, Vera (Mrs. Raymond Hoerle) of Cambridge, Erma (Mrs. Milford Knarr) of Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by 33 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

    Predeceased by her husband, Benjamin Roth in 1973; one daughter, Catherine in 1945; two brothers; four sisters; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

    Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, after 7 p.m. this evening. On noon Saturday, April 30, removal will be made to St. Agatha Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Nelson Martin will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

    HERNER, Mrs. Abraham (Elizabeth) At the K-W Hospital, on Saturday, Sept 8, 1973, suddenly following a heart attack, Elizabeth Everatt, of 103 Margaret Ave., Kitchener, age 73 years, born in Petersburg, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Everatt and a Twin City area resident for her entire lifetime, a member of the St. Agatha Mennonite Church; wife of Abraham Herner; mother of Kenneth of Route 2, Kitchener and Earl of Route 2, Breslau; sister of Sydney Everatt of Stratford, Amanda (Mrs. Benjamin Roth), Milverton; Catherine (Mrs. Elmer Mayer) and Seleda (Mrs. Lorne Kropf) of Kitchener, Vera (Mrs. Raymond Herrle) and Erma (Mrs. Milford Knarr) of Waterloo; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive; predeceased by two brothers Alvin and Joseph and two sisters Mrs. Clara Lichty and Mrs. Annie Snider.

    Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, Kitchener, until noon on Tuesday, when removal will be made to the St. Agatha Mennonite Church for the service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Gerald Schwartzentruber officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

    Donations to the memorial fund of the church may be made as expressions of sympathy.

    Wife of Elmer; mother of Cecil; grandmother of Tim and Kathy; sister of Sydney Everatt of Stratford, Amanda (Mrs. Benjamin Roth) of New Hamburg, Vera (Mrs. Raymond Herrle) and Seleda (Mrs. Lorne Kropf) both of Kitchener and Erma (Mrs. Milford Knarr) of Waterloo. Predeceased by three sisters, Annie, Elizabeth and Clara, two brothers, Joseph and Alvin and her father, John Everatt and her mother, the former Catharine Brunk. She was a member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church.

    HERRLE, Elvira Died peacefully, Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in her 104th year. She was the last surviving child of John Everatt and Catherine Brunk of Petersburg. Vera always talked fondly of those early years and the strong family bonds created by her mother and her grandmother. She never forgot her siblings Anne Snider, Amanda Roth, Elizabeth Herner, Clara Lichty, Joseph Everatt, Catherine Mayer, Seleda Kropf, Sidney Everatt, Alvin Everatt or Erma Knarr. Vera had a very happy marriage with Raymond Herrle (1976), but they never had any children themselves. So every niece and nephew was special to her. We will all remember those times we visited and she gave us undivided attention and made us feel very important to her. And we were. A long time member of Stirling Ave. Mennonite Church in Kitchener. The funeral service to celebrate Vera's life and faith will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 10: 30 a.m. in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo with visitation at 10 a.m. prior to the service. Rev. Marilyn Rudy-Froese officiating. There will be a reception following the service in the Fireside Reception Room prior to moving to Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener for the committal service.
