    FEENEY, Louise (née Bender) The family of Louise Feeney is very sad to announce her death on March 19, 2018 at Innisfree House in her 100th year. Louise was predeceased by her loving husband Hubert in May 2000. She was the last surviving member of the family of Andrew Bender and Mathilda Scheffner, predeceased by sisters Irene (Henry) Brenner and Rita (Bob) Golds and brothers Gilbert (Nellie) Bender and Carl (Helen) Bender. She is survived by her 4 loving children, Marjorie (Terry deceased 2003) Hallman, Joanne (Frank) Shewchuk, Carole Forsyth and Jim (Leslie) Feeney. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Sheri (Charlie) Tease, David Hallman, Paul (Julia) Shewchuk, Thomas Shewchuk, Ian (Tricia) Forsyth, Jean (David) Hébert and Tara (Steve Snyder) and nine great-grandchildren. Louise worked at Audio Transformer for many years. During retirement she engaged actively in many senior activities and especially playing cards. She was a member of the CWL and the Retired Knights of Columbus and belonged to St. Agnes and St. Louis parishes for over 70 years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Louise with her family during Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes RC Church, 75 Bluevale St. N., Waterloo on Friday March 23, 2018 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Aleksander Mazur as Celebrant. Interment to follow the mass at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception will be held in the parish hall. Condolences for the family and donations to St. Agnes RC Church (Renovation Fund) or to Innisfree House, may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519.745.8445.     BENDER, Gilbert Joseph Born on October 13, 1922 near St. Clements, Ontario to both the late Andrew (1951) and Mathilda (nee Scheffner 1963) Bender. Gib passed away peacefully on April 10, 2015 at the age of 92 at his residence. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Angela Nellie (nee Zarzycki) Bender in 1999 after 54 years of marriage. Gilbert is survived by his children; Gary (Doreen), Glen (late Judy - 2008), Brian (Debbra), Jeff (Bonnie), and Denise Reinhart (Charlie). Grandfather of James, Deirdre, Carrie-Lee, Tammy, Julie, Michael, Kevin, Kristina, Angel, Emily, Derek, Ryan, Anthony and Jackie. Great-grandfather of Kyle, Dillon, Steven, McKenzie, Victoria, Lily, Brooke, Danica, J.J., Tyson, Tavia, Reese, Benjamin and Devyn. Great- great-grandfather of Ethan. Brother of Louise (late Hubert) Feeney. Gib will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews, whom he loved; and his long time friend Hans Bruhin. He was predeceased by his sisters Irene (late Henry) Brenner and Rita (late Bob) Golds and brother Carl (late Helen) Bender. Gib leaves behind a legacy that includes his love and friendship with everyone he met, his dedication to his family, his love of all children (and their antics), his willingness to help anyone in need and his love of God. Gilbert's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8: 45 p.m. Prayers will also be offered at the funeral home on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 12: 20 p.m. followed by procession to St. Anne's RC Church, 268 East Ave., Kitchener for a Funeral Mass at 1 p.m. Following the interment at Parkview Cemetery a reception will be held at the church. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Anne's RC Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).     HALLMAN, David April 16, 1965 - January 2, 2019, Dave passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener with his family by his side after a courageous battle with liposarcoma. Dave is lovingly remembered by his mother Marjorie Hallman, his sister Sheri Tease and her husband Charlie, nephew Steven Tease and his wife Brittany and niece Jennifer Dobrint and her husband Jeromy. Dave is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Terry Hallman in 2003 and his grandparents Hubert and Louise Feeney, Madeline Hallman and special great-aunt Mary Ryan. Dave was one of the seven founders of Septimatech Group Inc. and worked there in various sales capacities for 10 years. Subsequent to that he worked in furniture sales at a number of companies in both Kitchener and London, retired in 2017. Dave was a sports enthusiast, loved people, made friends easily and had many true and loyal friends over his lifetime. In more recent years he was often seen alongside his canine sidekick Willy. Dave was a very intelligent man who always chose to live life on his own terms - and he dictated them as best he could while going through any challenges he encountered, and especially while fighting liposarcoma. He travelled extensively during his career with Septimatech and chose to spend the last several months travelling with friends as much as he could. The family would like to thank all the friends and medical personnel that have supported him through this battle. Friends are invited to share their memories of Dave with his family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 3 - 6 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 2 p.m., a reception will immediately follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment was held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
