    Cressman, Elam, son of Noah and Maryann Cressman, was born in Wilmot Twp., Ont., May 2, 1910; died of a heart attack at his home near New Hamburg, Ont., Nov. 14, 1967; aged 57 y. 6 m. 12 d. He was married to Alvina Roth, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters and one son (Grace, Doreen, and James). He was a member of the Biehn Church, where funeral services were held Nov. 17, with Irvin Cressman officiating.

    New Hamburg - Elam S. Cressman, 57, of RR 1, New Hamburg, died Tuesday night of a heart attack. He was born May 2, 1910, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Noah Cressman. He operated the farm where he was born all his life. He was a member of the Biehn Mennonite Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Alvina Roth; one son, James, at home; two daughters, Grace at home, and Doreen of Kitchener, and one brother, Zenas of RR 1, New Hamburg. He was predeceased by two brothers. The body will be at the Bruce J. Omand Funeral Home until noon Friday when removal will be made to the Biehn Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2: 30 p.m. Rev. Irvin Cressman will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

    CRESSMAN, Grace Kathleen Passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at her residence, for close to 25 years, the People Care Centre, Tavistock. She was born 77 years ago in Wilmot Township and was the daughter of the late Elam and Alvina (Roth) Cressman. Dear sister of Doreen Cressman and Jim and wife Sandra Cressman, all of New Hamburg. Sadly missed by her nephews Jeff and Stacey Cressman, Daryl and Kristen Cressman, niece Anna and Kevin Thompson and great-nieces Carley, Mackenzie, Madelynn and Katelynn. Remembered by her aunt Eloise Cressman. Grace was a member of Nith Valley Mennonite Church, New Hamburg. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 3: 00 p.m. with visitation from 2: 00 till the time of the service at Nith Valley Mennonite Church, New Hamburg. Pastors Matthew and Hendrike Isert Bender officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee.
