    Scharlach, Rudolph (Rudy) Dennis - At St. Mary's Hospital, on Saturday, Aug. 19, 1989, Rudy Scharlach, in his 76th year, of 127 Krug St., Kitchener. Rudy was a charter member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, an acting organist and choir director, treasurer of Lutheran World Relief, choir director of Rockway Gardens Glee Club for 10 years and served during the war as Corporal.

    Beloved husband of Irene (nee Orzen). Lovingly remembered by his sons, Rev. Allen Scharlach and his wife Elaine of Petersburg and Jim and his wife Donna of Kitchener. Loving grandfather of Joel, Marti-Anne and Adrienne. Predeceased by his parents, Lorenz and the former Wilhelmina Roehr. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at Holy Cross Lutheran Church on Tuesday at 2 p.m., Rev. Marcus Kuehn officiating. Internment Memory Gardens. Remembrances to the Rudy Scharlach Organist Scholarship Fund or the Alzheimer Society of Canada, would be appreciated by the family. Rudy received the Grace and Love of God in his baptism 75 years ago, having lived his life under that grace and love, he now awaits the fullness of God's presence at the Resurrection
