    SCHIEL, Mrs. Lenora - At K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, April 13, 1999, Lenora Anna Schiel (nee Stever), age 78 years, of Kitchener.

    Mrs. Schiel was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

    Beloved wife of the late George W. Schiel, who predeceased her in 1969.

    Dearly loved mother of Sherry and her fiancé Paul Charlton of Stroud; dear grandmother of Bonnie, David and his wife Faith; sister of Stanley Stever and his wife Betty of Hanover, Ervin Stever and his wife Betty of Doon, Ken Stever of Midland, Helen Rohr and her husband Arnold of Kitchener, Shirley Schmidt and her husband Fred of Cambridge.

    Predeceased by her parents; daughter, Diane and her brother, Henry.

    Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral and committal service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Friday at 2: 30 p.m., with Rev. Harold Brill officiating.

    Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.

    Interment Kitchener Mount Hope Cemetery.

    STEVER, Ervin Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 8, 2015, just short of his 90th birthday. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Cornell) for 64 years. Loving father of Glen (Angela), Robert (Ann), Linda Sullivan (Dennis), Rodney (Bernita), Bradley, Pamela Lynn (Wayne), Lori Stever. Ervin will be missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Shirley Schmidt (Fred). Predeceased by his sisters Lenore and Helen and brothers Stan, Ken and Hank. Ervin retired from Uniroyal Goodrich after 35 years of service, and while working at Uniroyal, he maintained a hobby farm. Ervin had a passion for golf and until he was 84, golfed 36 holes a day. He was a long time faithful member of the Lutheran Church. Ervin's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 7-9 p.m at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener and will continue on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 10-10: 45 a.m. at the church. The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 322 East Avenue, Kitchener, followed by a reception in the church Hall. Pastor Nolan Astley officiating. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or Lutheran Laymen's League would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
