    SCHNARR, Howard A. - Passed away, on Thursday, November, 16,2000. at St. Mary's General Hospital, at the age of 83 years.

    Mr. Schnarr was a member of St. Louis RC Church for over 50 years and a life member of the Knights of Columbus, 5135 of Waterloo (Senior Retirement Club). Employed with Sunar Hauserman Ltd. as a certified engineer for 45 years.

    Loving husband of the former Edna Beam, they were married for 60 years. Dear father of Donna Martinello and her husband Larry of Unionville, Nancy Sim and her husband Brent of Markham, Patricia Ponka (deceased, October 1996) and her husband Jorma. Survived by grandchildren. Lisa and husband Glenn Wolff, Christopher and Michael Martinello, Jennifer, Katrina and Andrea Sim and David Ponka; one great-grandson, Reece Wolff; brother of Albert, Lorne and wife Rose, Leonard and wife Loretta, Ralph and wife Bernice. Morris and wife Joan.

    Predeceased by his parents, Alma Hergott and Edward Schnarr: brother. Arnold in August of 2000. The Schnarr family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers and Knights of Columbus Service Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St E., Waterloo, with Rev. Clarence Hauser CR officiating. A reception will follow the funeral in the gymnasium of St. Louis Parish Hall. Private family interment Monday afternoon.

    In memory of Mr. Schnarr, do-nations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
