    GOLBECK, Walter Grant - On Sunday, June 4, 1989, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Walter Grant, age 86 years, of 140 Westheights Drive, Kitchener. Born in Wellesley Township. He was retired from Uniroyal Limited, Kitchener. Son of the late William and Barbara Golbeck. Husband of the former Mary Schlueter; father of Murray and his wife Clara of Kitchener and Caroline and her husband Harry Homeniuk of Cambridge; grand-father of seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother, Henry and one sister, Ida. Mr. Golbeck's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, today (Monday), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Harold Brill officiating. Interment St. John's Lutheran cemetery, Wellesley.

    HOMENIUK, Caroline May (nee Golbeck) Passed away peacefully, on Friday, September 18, 2009, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Lovingly remembered by her husband, Harry; son, Harry Jr. and his wife Maryanne. Predeceased by daughter, Patricia; son, Mike; and grandson, Harry Mark. Beloved grandmother of Cindy Doerner (Steve), Dawn Spino (Steve), Karen Homeniuk (Jamie), Christine Carver (Tim), Scott Cook (Jessica), and Karrie Minken (Brett). Great-grandmother to Lacey Schmidt, Travis Taylor, Blake, Cole, and Amber Spino, and Mark Homeniuk. Great-great-grandmother to Paiden Fidler. Caroline will also be remembered by brother, Murray Golbeck (Clara); brother-in-law, John Homeniuk (Chris); sister-in-law, Thelma Hilts; and son-in-law, Bill Schmidt. At Caroline's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Crema- tion has taken place. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Mother of Dawn (Steve) Spino of Kitchener and Cindy Dorner of Harriston. Much loved grandmother of Lacy Schmidt and Travis Taylor of Hanover, and Blake, Amber and Cole Spino of Kitchener. Great-grandmother of Padin of Hanover. Sister of Harry Jr. (MaryAnn) of Cambridge. Daughter-in-law of Ward and JoAnne Schmidt of Hanover and Jean Schmidt of Kitchener. Also survived by numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Mike. A memorial service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Mannheim, on Friday, July 18, 2008, at 11 a.m. Interment in St. James Cemetery.
