Dearest Grandpa to Kayla and Mathew Shaw and fiancée Noelle Gagne. Step-Grandpa to Scott and Stephanie Bingeman and Jessica, Alex and Eric Mueller. He will be sadly missed by his "lady friend" Bernice Stemmler; his brothers, Melvin and his wife Mary, Bill and his wife Blanche, Harold, all of Waterloo, Jerome and his wife Shirley and Claude, all of Kitchener and Calvin and his wife Ilene of Baden; sisters, Gloria Wyszysnki of New Hamburg, Lorraine and her husband Al Goebel and Helen Kreutzer and her husband Marty, all of Kitchener. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Thelma Moser and Helen Schlueter. Clarence is pre- deceased by his loving wife, Evelyn Fern Moser (Schlueter) on May 1, 1998; brothers, Howard (wife Melinda), Elmer and Gilbert; sisters, Kay Steffler (husband, Lloyd) and Lucy Stockie; brothers-in-law, Joe Wyszysnki, John Stockie, Cecil Schlueter, Gordon Schlueter; and sisters-in-law, Florence Moser, Dorothy Moser, Hazel Schneider and Edith Stroh. Dad has gone home to Heaven, to join the ranks among the angels with mom, his parents, Robert Moser and Ida Dorscht and his brothers and sisters who were all waiting patiently for him. Clarence was a member of St. Louis RC Church where, in his retirement, he enjoyed attending noon hour mass every day. He was also a member of the Army, Navy and Air Force Club, Unit 247 where he had served for many years on the executive. Clarence worked as a first class welder for Canada Machinery and enjoyed making decorative items out of wood, including wishing wells and life-sized silhouettes of people. He was well-known for his mischievous laugh. Clarence was an outstanding husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend to many and doted on his children and grandchildren with so much love and care. Clarence enjoyed over 40 years of cottage life at Wasaga Beach where he acquired many friendships. It was with family and friends that Clarence enjoyed a friendly game of solo. In his final few years, he was declining and struggled to find the right words. We all knew him well enough to understand and help him along. Dad has been called to go on a new journey that will reunite him with mom and other family members, in heaven, with our Lord. A special thank you to Dr. Tim Szozda and staff for their compassion and care. Also, thank you to the staff at Winston Park where he spent his final days. There's a star up in the heavens that will be shining much brighter tonight as dad and mom are reunited. Dad and Mom, you have always been and will always be our guardian angels.

MOSER, Melvin We find comfort in our profound sadness knowing Pops "Opa" passed peacefully in his sleep to join his sweetheart on December 31, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Mary Wyszynski (2015), always at her side during the years of her illness. Dear father of Steve (Patricia), Ken (Colleen), Ann, Robert (Paul), Scott (Amy) and Brenda Kingsley (Kevin). Opa shared a deep pride and love for his grandchildren; creating lasting memories as they grew up. Lovingly remembered and treasured by his grandchildren Ken Jr., Andrea, Richard, Shawn, Jessica, Brandon, Dylan and great-grandchildren, Nathanial, William and Clara. Survived by brothers, Claude, Jerome, William (Blanche), Calvin (Ilene), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Thelma and Florence, Rose Armstrong (Greg) and Ed Wyszynski. Predeceased by his son Frank, parents Robert Moser and Ida Dorscht, brothers Gilbert, Elmer, Howard (Melinda), Clarence (Evelyn) and Harold (Dorothy); sisters Lucy Stockie (John), Lorraine Goebel (Al), Catherine Steffler (Lloyd), Gloria Wyszynski (Joe), Helen Kreutzer (Marty); sisters-in-law Florence and Shirley. Dad was a long-time member of St. Agatha RC Church where he found strength and never losing faith through difficult times. He worked hard to provide for our big family. With 39 years of service at Seagram's distillery, he was out to the barn after dinner to put in another day's work. He instilled a strong work ethic in all of us and was never short on words or a great story. Unbeatable on the horseshoe pit, the best homemade summer sausage and an inherent love for curating beautiful gardens. Dad never missed an opportunity to weave in a lesson on the farm, through work or play. A jovial approach to life and always the mediator. A much-loved uncle of many nieces, nephews and friends who were always welcome in our home; he was never far away when they needed someone to talk to; reminding us of his belief in "do unto others as you would want them to do to you". Our sincere thanks to all the staff at The Village of Winston Park for their loving and compassionate care for our dad. Friends are invited to share their memories of Mel with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. South, Waterloo, on Thursday, January 4, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered at the funeral home in the evening 8:45 p.m. Morning prayers will be said on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Agatha R.C.
