    ERB, Frieda-Went to be with her Lord, with family by her side, at Greenwood Court, Stratford, on Sunday, February 21, 2010 in her 99th year. Born on January 5, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Nafziger) Erb. Beloved wife of the late John G. Erb (2004). Devoted mother of Franklin and Jean Erb of Wellesley, Arnold and Annetta Erb of Brunner, Marjorie and Mervin Roth of New Hamburg, Helen and Henry Streicher of Heidelberg and Jean Ann and Cameron Jutzi of Kitchener. Proud and loving grandma to 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Frieda is also survived by her sister Marie Leis, by sisters-in-law Mabel Erb, Laura Nafziger, Katherine Erb, and brother-in-law Allen Erb and wife Norma. She is predeceased by one son in infancy and by two great-grandchildren, her brothers Ervin Erb and wife Erma, Joseph Erb, sisters and brothers-in-law Gordon Leis, Elmer Erb and wife Vera, Cornelius Erb, Norman Erb and wife Amanda, Dan Erb and wife Doris (Kropf) Harvey Nafziger, Emma Erb and Mary Erb. Frieda was a life long and active member of Maple View Mennonite Church, Wellesley. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Frieda with her family at Crosshill Mennonite Church, 2537 Hutchison Road, Crosshill, on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Crosshill Mennonite Church on Thursday, February 25th at 2 p.m. Pastor Bruce Sawatsky officiating. Interment to follow at Maple View Mennonite Cemetery, Wellesley. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Maple View Building Fund, Greenwood Court or the Mennonite Central Committee. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Greenwood Court for the years of compassionate care given to our mother.
