    FISHER, Mrs. George M. (Margaret) - On Friday, Dec. 12, 1980, at the K-W Hospital, Margaret Knechtel, aged 83, of 52 Laurel St., Waterloo. She was born in Perth County and was a member of First United Church in Waterloo. Mrs. Fisher was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Knechtel Her husband George M. Fisher predeceased her in 1969. She is survived by three step-sons, Dr. C. Miller of Boston, Mass., James of Bayfield, Ont. and Mark of Waterloo and by four step-daughters, Mrs. Ruth Grierson, Mrs. Raymond (Helen) Baugart, Mrs. G. (Miriam) Needham and Jean Fisher, all of Kitchener. Also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one sister, Ella. Mrs. Fisher's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral and committal services will be held in the funeral home chapel, Monday at 1: 30 p.m. Rev. R. H. McColl officiating. Interment Waterloo Mount Hope cemetery.

    Mrs. George Fisher - Mrs. George M. Fisher of 78 Erb St. E., Waterloo, died Sunday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in North Easthope township, she resided in the Twin Cities most of her life. She was a member of the First United Church, Waterloo, and the United Church Women. The former Ella Knechtel, she is survived by her husband; four sons, James and George of Waterloo, Mark of Ancaster and Dr. Miller Fisher of Boston; four daughters, Mrs. Walter (Ruth) Grierson of Waterloo, Mrs. Wilfred (Helen) Patterson and Jean Fisher both of Kitchener and Mrs. N.G. (Miriam) Needham of Whitehorse, Yukon; a sister, Margaret Knechtel of Kitchener; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body is at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo where the service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 pm. Burial will be in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery.
