    Doerr, Woodrow E. (Woody) - In his 77th year, of 199 Hope St. E., Tavistock, died Saturday, June 10, 1995, at Stratford General Hospital, following a brief illness. Formerly of New Hamburg, he was born in Kitchener, a son of the late Elmer and Clara (Zinken) Doerr. He was a member of Zion United Church, New Hamburg and had retired from Stanley Works, New Hamburg. Woody was a member of the Wilmot Township Committee of Adjustment, an active member of the New Hamburg Lawn Bowling Club, a member of Foxwood Golf Club and past president and life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 532, New Hamburg. Woody has served in the Canadian Armed Forces during the Second World War. Beloved husband of Katherine (Kaye) Luckhart who predeceased him January 27, 1993. Loving father of Terry and her husband Gary Pfaff of Millgrove, Gaye Ellen Dahl of Kitchener, Cathy and her husband Dale Winhold of Stratford; dear grandfather to Chris and Todd, Richard and David, Mark and Scott. Fondly remembered by his in-laws, Ruth Luckhart of New Hamburg, Rex and Marj Luckhart of Chesley, Mae Doerr and Lewis Hahn, both of Kitchener, Bill Templin of Mississauga; special niece, Laura Templin of Toronto; his many nieces and nephews and cherished friends. He was predeceased by his grandson, Eric; his brother, Ralph Doerr and his two sisters, Marville Hahn and Phyllis Current. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, today (Monday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Transfer will be made on Tuesday at noon to Zion United Church for the service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Robert Thaler officiating. Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Oxford Home Care, Canadian Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit of Stratford General Hospital would be appreciated by the family. There will be a legion memorial service today (Monday) at 6: 45 p.m. at the funeral home.
