SCHWINDT, Arnold "Arnie" - Peacefully, on Thursday, July 13, 2006, at his residence. Arnold "Arnie" Schwindt in his 86th year of Elmira. Beloved husband of the late Mildred (Stowe) Schwindt (2003). Dear father of Diann and Paul Jackson of Ancaster, Ronald and Trudy Schwindt of St. Thomas, Gloria Crosbie of Whitby and Barbara and Rob De Vryer of Penticton, B.C. Also lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brother and brother-in-law of Homer and Sylvia Schwindt, Melba and Lorne Martin, Eileen and Vern Gingrich, Ruth Schwindt all of Elmira, Susan Holst of Waterloo, Bruce and Kay Schwindt of Courtney, B.C. and Marion Schwindt of Grand Prairie, Alberta. Predeceased by his parents, George and Mary Ann (Miller) Schwindt, three brothers, Floyd, Ward and Howard. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Monday, July 17, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. At 9 a.m. on Tuesday, transfer will be made to the Elmira Pentecostal Assembly, 290 Arthur St. S., Elmira for funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Hansley Armoogan officiating followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery. In his memory, donations to A Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
