    Notes:

God called Sharon home to a new life of joy and peace on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at her residence in Elmira, at the age of 62 years. Dearest wife and best friend of Jack for almost 34 years. Devoted mother of Alice and Russell. Dearly loved sister of Judy and Lee Bell and special aunt of Tom (Courtney and baby Lila), Jeff (Erin), and Ben. Predeceased by her parents, Howard and Helen (Burnett) Ziegler, and her sister Vicki (1998). Lovingly remembered by Ron and Brenda Soeder, John Soeder, Dave and Linda Soeder and family, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncle and friends. Sharon's lifelong vocation was caring for others. As a stay-at-home mom, she was absolutely devoted to her husband and children. She also loved to babysit her nephews, and cared for her grandmother and mother until they passed into new life. Sharon was also an energetic and creative volunteer at St. Teresa of Avila church and school in Elmira. Despite all the lives Sharon touched, she remained incredibly humble, a true example of self-giving Christian love to all her family and friends. Thank you so much to the compassionate and lifegiving doctors and nurses at GRRCC, especially Dr Califaretti, and to the Palliative Care Team. And thank you to Sharon's devoted friends, Betty, Ellen, Brenda and Laurie for journeying with us, we love you all. The family will receive their relatives and friends on Thursday (today), March 30, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira., with parish prayers offered at 8:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 10 a.m., at St. Teresa of Avila R.C. Church, 19 Flamingo Drive, Elmira, followed by interment in St. Boniface R.C. Cemetery, Maryhill. In Sharon's memory, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
