    Notes:

Kitchener Couple Asphyxiated, Find Wife Dead

KITCHENER. Until they can interview Howard Keller 22, who at last reports is in a critical condition, police say they cannot formulate a definite theory in the death of his wife, Rose, and his own critical illness from gas asphyxiation.

Mrs. Keller was found dead Saturday morning with her husband unconscious beside her in their apartment on Victoria St. South.

One burner in the stove was turned fully on, and the other, half on. Artificial respiration was applied to Mrs. Keller for more than an hour before the coroner, Dr. L V. Lang, pronounced her dead.

Police are waiting for improvement in the condition of the husband so they can get a statement from him. His condition is still critical.

Neighbors say that the Kellers were apparently a very happy couple and police have been able to find nothing to shed a light on the tragedy.

Decision about an inquest will await conclusion of the preliminary police probe
