    Reiber-Roehrig An early autumn wedding of interest to Kitchener and Waterloo residents, was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Roehrig, 19 Maynard avenue, yesterday afternoon at three o'clock, when their daughter Ethel, was married to Otto Reiber of Waterloo. Rev. H A. Sperling of St. Peter's Lutheran church performed the ceremony in the presence of about 35 guests.

    The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, took her place beneath an arch of pink and white astern, as "Mendelssohn's Wedding March" was played by Mr. MacDonald of Toronto. She wore a simply made gown of white canton crepe trimmed with ribbon, and her veil of silk net was held in place by a wreath, of orange blossoms. Sunset roses were carried. She was attended by her sister, Miss Clara Roehrig, who wore A gray georgette crepe frock and gray hat trimmed with ostrich. She carried a bouquet of Ophelia roses. Mr. Ormand Powell of Guelph acted as best man.

    The rooms thruout the house were festooned with clusters of pink and white asters, making a charming setting for the pretty event. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served in the dining-room. Among the -out-of-town guests present were Mrs. H. M. Brown and Mrs. V. Badan of Seattle, Washington, Mrs. F. Korman of Walkerton, Miss R. Dopp and Mr. MacDonald of Toronto, Mrs. W. Baggett of Detrat, Mr. Wm. Mattell of Walkerton, Miss Onnerene Mattell of New York and Miss Willow Talaraman of Toronto.

    The groom's gift to the bride was an electric stove, to the bridesmaid an onyx ring. and to the groomsman initialed engraved cuff links. Mr. and Mrs. Reiber left later by motor on a honeymoon trip to Buffalo, the bride travelling in a frock of gray georgette, with wrap of black bolivia cloth, and gray hat, On their retorn they will reside in their new home at the corner of Foundry and Park avenues, Waterloo,

    REIBER, Richard O. Suddenly, at University Hospital, London, on Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, Richard "Dick" Reiber, of London, in his 75th year.

    Beloved husband of Rita; loving father of Randy and his wife Margaret of Kitchener, David and his wife Kathy of Calgary, Jim and his wife Susan of London, Peter and his wife Beth of London and Terry of Boston; dear grandpa of Jeffrey, Kelly and Brendan and brother of Robert and his wife Margaret of Lisle, Ont.

    Mr. Reiber was a secondary school technical teacher for 36 years and volunteered for 10 years at Sir John A. Macdonald Public School, teaching English as a Second Language.

    Friends may call on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, Richmond Street at St. James, London, where the funeral ser- vice will be conducted on Friday, Dec. 18 at 11 a.m. by Rev. Dennis Watts.
