    Herbert L. Kufske, of 447 Grandview Ave., New Hamburg, died at K-W Hospital, Kitchener, January 27, 1983, aged 79 years. He was a member of the New Hamburg Conservative Mennonite

    Church. Son of the late Charles Kufske and the former Mary Martz; beloved husband of the former Mabel Koch, whom he married June 7, 1930; dear father of Richard and his wife Madeline of RR 5, Brussels and Kathryn (Mrs. Maurice Good) of RR 2, New Hamburg; dear brother of Reta (Mrs. Andrew Bean). Mildred (Mrs. Royden Woolner), both of Kitchener, Doris (Mrs. Mahlon Ramseyer), Pearl (Mrs. Kenneth Dubrick) and Kenneth, all of Waterloo. Also surviving are seven grandchildren.

    Predeceased by two brothers, Howard and Laverne and one sister, Ruth (Mrs. Clayton Meyers).

    Mr. Kufske rested at the Mark Jutzi funeral home New Hamburg chapel until noon Sunday when transfer was made to New Hamburg Conservative Mennonite church for service at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Timothy Martin officiating Spring interment Riverside cemetery New Hamburg.

    Meyers, Ruth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kufske, was born in Kitchener, Ont., died at St. Raphael's Nursing Home, Kitchener, Ont., May 26, 1973; aged 68 y. She was married to Stanley Koch, who preceded her in death. She was later married to Clayton L. Meyers, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Mary - Mrs. Roy Gascho and Marjorie - Mrs. Lennis Gingerich), 2 sons (Earl and Arnold), 16 grandchildren, one great-grandson, two brothers (Kenneth and Herbert Kufske), and 4 sisters (Pearl - Mrs. Ken Dubrick, Doris - Mrs. Mahlon Ramseyer, Reta - Mrs. Andrew Bean, and Mildred - Mrs. Royden Woolner). She was preceded in death by 2 brothers (Laverne and Howard). She was a member of the First Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on May 29, in charge of Robert N. Johnson; interment in First Mennonite Cemetery.

    Beloved husband of Madeline (Snider) Kufske.

    Dear father of Roger & Laurie Kufske of Abbottsford, BC, Arlene & Kevin Bridge of Listowel, and Amy & Marc Goede of Dundas.

    Grandfather of Justin & Jocy Kufske, Josh & Farrah Kufske, Bradley & Devon Kufske, Scott & Kate Bridge, Lisa & Justin Forman, Claire Goede, and Adam Goede, and great-grandfather of Seth Kufske, Madelyn Kufske, Landry Kufske, and Dawson Forman.

    Brother of Kathryn & Maurice Good of New Hamburg, and brother-in-law of Dr. David & Bonnie Snider of Guelph. Also missed by his nieces and nephews.

    Predeceased by his parents Herb & Mabel Kufske, and sister-in-law Eleanor Snider.

    Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday, June 28th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

    The funeral service will be held at Listowel Evangelical Missionary Church on Saturday, June 29th at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.

    Private family interment in Erb Street Mennonite Church Cemetery, Waterloo.

    Memorial donations to Listowel Evangelical Missionary Church, or Listowel Memorial Hospital, would be appreciated.
