    Mrs. E. Roy Bier

    SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Mrs. E. Roy Bier of 16 Diego Drive, San Rafael, Calif., died Sept. 2, following a lengthy illness. Born in Kitchener. Mrs. Bier was the former Myrtle Simpson. She moved to Winnipeg with her late husband, Dr. E. Roy Bier, in 1920 and lived there until 1965, when she moved to California to live with her daughter and family. Mrs. Bier was an active member of St. Andrew's River Heights United Church, in Winnipeg. She is survived by a brother, Alec Simpson of Florida, a sister, Kathleen Clenen of Don Mills: a daughter, Margaret Miles of San Rafael, Calif. and two grandchildren. A son Kenneth, died in 1938. Burial will be in St John's Cathedral cemetery, Winnipeg.
