On Thursday of last week there were buried in the Lutheran cemetery have the earthly remains of Jacob Foerster, who died of Bright's disease raving been seriously ill only a week. Deceased had been twice married. His first wife died in 1857 and the second one seven years ago. One son of the first wife survives and 2 sons and 2 daughters of the second wife. For a number of years he had lived with his daughter, Mrs. John Rank, Con. 7, Wellesley township. He leaves four brothers, who were present at the funeral, namely, Frederick and Andrew, of Heidelberg, Louis of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Valentine, of Cranbrook, Ont.

WELLESLEY, APRIL 11-Mrs. Jacob Streicher of Wellesley, age 79, died at her home here last evening as a result of a heart attack. Deceased was born at Bamberg on Jan. 31, 1860.
Surviving are her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Walter Daub, and Misses Gusta and Clara of Kitchener. Mary at home; one son, Jacob Jr. at home; one brother, Jacob Foerrster of Elmira; one sister, Mrs. Mary Rank of Heidelberg.
Funeral services will be private from the home on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock with public services at the Missouri Lutheran church. Rev. C. A. Kramer will officiate.

Jacob W. Foerster, 58, a well- known merchant in Poole died Thursday, October 30, at the Hamilton General Hospital.

A son of the late Jacob M. Foerster and Anne Brox, he was born at Elmira, December 10, 1893. Surviving are his wife, Margaret; two sons, Howard W. (Jim) and John R., both of Poole; two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Norma) Ritter, Atwood, and Miss Betty Foerster, Kitchener. Eight grandchildren also survive. One brother Addison died 19 years ago.

The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor until 11 a.m. Friday morning when removal was made to the residence at Poole. Private service was held at the home Sunday at 1:30 p.m. followed by a public service at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley. Interment was in Elmira Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Koenig, 70, of Linwood died suddenly at her home Friday night.

Born in Wellesley Township Dec. 3, 1881, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Foerster.

She lived in the Linwood district all her life. Mrs. Koenig attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood, and was a member of the Ladies Aid Society.

Surviving are two sons, John and Otto of Linwood; one daughter, Mrs. David (Delphine) Heipel of Baden; two brothers, George of Waterloo and Jacob of Heidelberg; four sisters, Mrs. Fred Knisel and Mrs. David Cook of Lisbon, Mrs. Fred Dahmer of Waterloo and Mrs. George Glebe of Kitchener and three grandchildren.

Her husband, John Koenig, predeceased her in 1936. The body will rest at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Sunday noon when removal will be made to her home.

A private funeral will be held at her home Monday at 2 p.m. followed by a public memorial service at St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Linwood, with Rev. Walter Goos officiating.

She was a member of St. James' Lutheran Church in North Easthope Township. Ralph Foerster After an illness resulting from an abscess on his head Ralph Foerster, 13-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Forester, died at the home of his parents at Poole this week. He was born in Elmira but moved to Poole with his parents about ten years ago where Mr. Foerster operates a store as well as in Elmira. Surviving besides his parents are one sister, Norma, of Elmira, and two brothers. Jack and Jim. of Poole. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon in Elmira.

KNEISEL, Wilfred Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at The Village at University Gates, Waterloo. Wilfred had farmed at R.R. # 1 Wellesley for 65 years and followed all areas of farming well after his retirement. Wilfred and Reta resided at Nith Terrace in New Hamburg for a number of years. He was born 92 years ago in North Easthope Township and was the son of the late Frederick and Louisa (Foerster) Kneisel. Beloved husband of Reta (Schmidt) Kneisel whom he married May 4, 1946. Predeceased by his first wife Elizabeth in 1967.

Wally was a Waterloo boy and worked for the City of Waterloo for forty years.
