WETTLAUFER, William A. - Sunday, May 8, 1983, at his residence, William A. Wettlaufer, of RR 1, New Hamburg.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg; and will be well remembered as an exhibitor at the local fall fairs, for 50 years.

Beloved husband of the former Idelia Doering; dear father of Shirley (Mrs. Stuart Honderich) and Jean (Mrs. Ernie Faulhafer), both of Baden. He is lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren, Cath and Susan Honderich and Christopher and Sara Faulhafer.

He was predeceased by his parents, the late John Wettlaufer and the former Salome Schamber; a brother Reuban; a brother in infancy and one sister, Edna (Mrs. Edwin Doering).

Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg Chapel, 291 Huron St., until noon Tuesday, May 10, when transfer will be made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg, for service at 2: 30 p.m., with Rev. Douglas Kranz officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
