    JOSEPH S. ALBRECHT

    A retired farmer from Mornington Township, Joseph S. Albrecht, 88, died Sunday at the home of his son Henry at R.R. 1 Millbank. He had been ill for five months. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Albrecht, he was born January 12, 1868, in Wilmot Township. He was a member of the Amish Mennonite faith.

    His wife, the former Magdalena Zehr, predeceased him in 1936. He is survived by five sons, Noah, Henry, Amos and Eli, all of Millbank, and Joseph of Linwood; one daughter, Mrs. Elan (Lydia) Horst of Newton; one brother, Daniel of Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Christian (Barbara) Herrfort of Newton and Mrs. Alfred (Christina) Bell of Kitchener; 32 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Two sisters and four brothers predeceased him.

    BOSSENCE, Mrs. Magdalena (Lena) 1991 On Sunday, June 16, 1991, at Palmerston General Hospital, Lena Bossence, of 23 Albert St., Ayton and formerly of Peffers. She was born in Mornington township 87 years ago, a daughter of the late John S. Albrecht and the former Magdalena Roth. Beloved wife of Thomas Alexander Bossence who predeceased her November 3, 1968. Lovingly remembered by her children, Vera and her husband Edwin Friedmann, Carol and her husband Gerry Wing, all of Linwood, Barbara and her husband Colonel Schneider, Lloyd and his wife Betty Bossence, Vivian Greenley, all of Arthur, Shirley and her husband Fred Fischer of Cambridge, Dianne and her husband Gerry Boeve of Ayton. Sadly missed by one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Nora (Allan) Rogers of Waterloo; 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Lena was predeceased by one son, John; two brothers, Jacob and John and two sisters, Katie (Mrs. Dan Brenneman) and Barbara Albrecht. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 9 Pacifica Ave. Milverton, after 2 p.m. Tuesday and until Wednesday, where the funeral service will be held at 1: 30 p.m., with Rev. Neil Lackey officiating. Interment in Greenwood cemetery, Milverton. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Beloved husband of the former Katie Lichty of Newton; dear father of Harvey of RR 1, Milverton; Reuben of RR 1, Millbank, Edna (Mrs. William Wagler) of Newton, Lydia (Mrs. John Schmidt) of RR 1, Wallenstein and Barbara (Mrs. Jacob Schmidt) of Newton; brother of Amos Albrecht of Millbank. Also survived by 36 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by four sons, one sister and three brothers. Visitation at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Reuben Albrecht of RR 1, Millbank. Funeral service will be conducted at the home on Friday, Jan. 7, 1983 at 1 p.m. Bishop Joseph K. Jantzi will officiate. Interment in the Seventh Line Amish Mennonite Cemetery, Wellesley Township.

    ALBRECHT, Eli -- Of Route 1, Millbank, passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 15,1978, as the result of an accident near Millbank, born in Mornington Township 70 years ago, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Albrecht. He farmed in Wellesley Township most of his life. Dear father of Ezra of Route 1, Millbank, Joseph of Route 1, Newton, Mary (Mrs. Manuel Kuepfer) of Route 1, Millbank; brother of Noah and Amos of Route 1, Millbank. Also survived by 27 grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife, the former Magdalena Kipfer in 1973, also by one son, two brothers, and one sister. Visitation at the family residence after 10 a.m. Friday where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 1 p.m. Bishop Joseph K. Jantzi officiating. He was a farmer and cattle drive for some thirty-two years and he married the former Mary Steckley. Surviving are his wife, four sons, Norman of RR 1, Britton?, Wesley of Atwood, Ivan and Donald at home; two daughters Selma of Listowel and ? Ann at home; one sister Mrs. Joseph (Emily) Sitler? Of RR 1 Newton. The body is at the McManus ?Funeral Home, Milverton where the funeral will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. followed by a service at Poole Nafziger Church at 9? p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Bishop Moses Nafziger officiating.

    Lavina was formerly of Millbank. She was born 87 years ago in Mornington township and was the daughter of the late Daniel S. and Beana (Lichty) Albrecht. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.

    Beloved wife of the late Menno L. Kuepfer who predeceased her in 1994. Dear mother of Barbara Kuepfer, Robena Kuepfer, Magdalena Kuepfer, all of Millbank, Catherine Birch of Milverton, Sarah and her husband Thomas Burnett of Palmerston. Marion Lahey of Abbotsford, B.C., Harvey and his wife Fannie Kuepfer of Monkton. Sadly missed by 11 grand- children and 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Edward and his wife Sarah Albrecht of RR 3, Monkton.

    Lavina was predeceased by children, Emmanuel and Edith, both in infancy and a sister, Lena Robb.

    Family and friends may call at Lavina's former residence, 4041 Norfolk Street, Millbank after 7 p.m. to- night (Thursday) and again on Friday. The funeral service will held at the residence on Saturday, June 7, 2003 at 1 p.m. Bishop Menno Streicher to of ficiate. Interment in the 7th Line Amish Cemetery, Wellesley township.
