Jean Harrison - Janet Elizabeth (Jean) Harrison passed away at her residence in Cambridge on Wednesday, October 18, 1995. She was in her 80th year. The former Jean McLeod, she was born in Ayr, a daughter of the late Alex McLeod and Margaret Robertson. Mrs. Harrison worked in the textile industry, retiring from Dobbie's, Galt, in 1980. She was formerly active in Moose Lodge and senior citizen organizations in Ayr and Cambridge. Dear mother of John and his wife Grace of Cambridge, Richard and his wife Susan of Kitchener and mother-in-law of Fay Harrison of Cambridge. Loved grandmother of nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Agnes Tomblin of Paris and Alice Runstedler of Cambridge. Predeceased by her son Gerald Harrison and three brothers, Alex, William and Donald McLeod. Funeral service was conducted at Coutts and Son Funeral Chapel on Saturday, October 21. Rev. David Courey of Calvary Pentecostal Church officiated. Interment Ayr Cemetery.

Gerald Harrison
A native of Ayr, Gerald Harrison, of Galt, pasted away Sunday, October 11th. He was in his 54th year. Born in Ayr, he was a son of Charles Harrison and the former Jean McLeod. He attended Ayr Public School. He moved to Cambridge in 1944 where he was employed in construction. In later years he was employed by CNR, Brantford, as a welder's assistant. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife the former Faye Cardy; four children Mrs. Lloyd (Sandra) MacDonald of Stevensville, William of Welland, Keith and Steven at home; four grandchildren; brothers John of Cambridge and Richard of Kitchener. Rested at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, Galt, on Wednesday. Cremation followed.
