    Robert R. Page Passes - Robert Russell Page of RR 3, Ayr, died last Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. He was 67. Mr. Page was born in Oxford County. He had resided most of his life in the Ayr area. He retired in 1968 from Sheldon's Engineering, Ltd., Galt. He was a member of Knox United Church, Ayr, and of Dolman Lodge, 1OOF. Mr. Page was an active member of the Ayr Lawn Bowling Club and in former years was an avid curler and member of Ayr Curling Club. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Page, and by one brother, Alvin. Surviving are his wife, the former Anna Brown; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Joyce) Dedman of RR 7, Galt, and Jean of RR 8, Ayr; one brother, William of Ayr; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. An Odd Fellows service was conducted at the funeral home Friday evening. Funeral service was held at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, Galt, on Saturday afternoon. Rev. D. E. Willis of Ayr officiated. Interment in Ayr Cemetery. Pallbearers were Murray Smith, G. S. Dalrymple, Wallace Gillespie, Deans Page, Donald Page and William Brown.

    Mrs. Walter Dedman of Cant Street, Cambridge, passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 30, 1996. She was in her 70th year. The former Joyce Gwendolyne Page, she was born in Galt, a daughter of the late Robert Page and Anna Brown. Joyce grew up in Ayr and attended school here. For a number of years she was a rural mail courier out of Ayr. Beloved wife of Walter Dedman and dear mother of Greg Gray of St. Catharines, Peter Dedman, Scott Dedman, Allan Dedman and Christina Jetter all of Cam bridge. Dearest grand-mother of ten grandchildren. Beloved sister of Jean Coleman of Cambridge. She was predeceased by her son Leonard and daughter Anna. Rested at Corbett Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral service was held on Sunday. Rev. Norris Huebner officiated. Cremation.

    Sudden Death of Anna Dedman

    Anna Dedman, six-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dedman of Galt, formerly of Ayr, was killed when she was struck by a car while crossing the 16th Side road, Normandy Township, near Ayton, July 20. Ayton is about 40 miles south of Owen Sound. The girl was with her parents on a visit. Anna Dedman is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dedman; four brothers, Leonard, Allan, Peter and Scott, and one sister, Christine. Also surviving are her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Dedman, RR 7, Galt, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Page of Ayr. Funeral service was held from Coutts and Son Funeral Home, Galt, August 1 with interment in Ayr Cemetery.
