    Aileen Gingrich

    Long-time Ayr resident, Aileen Elizabeth Gingrich, died at Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, April 12, 2003. She was in her 87th year.

    Born in Oxford County, the daughter of Florence (Gress) and Thomas Morton Robson, Aileen was a retired 37-year employee of the CIBC branch in Ayr, an active long-time membr of the Ayr Horticultural Society, Ayr Knox United Church and the Friendship Club.

    Mrs. Gingrich was predeceased by her husband Orville Gingrich in 1991.

    She is survived by her sister Isabel G. Robson of Water; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Ransome of Paisley; her two nephews Eric Ransome of Paisley and Bruce Ransome of Port Elgin; and her three cousins.

    Reverend Fred Hagle of Knox United Church, Ayr will conduct funeral services as the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Ayr, today (Wednesday) at 2: 00 pm.

    Interment Ayr Cemetery.

    Isabel Robson

    Isabel Gemmell Robson, formerly of Cambridge, passed away at Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo, on Monday, December 8th, 2003. She was in her 86th year.

    Isabel was born and raised in Ayr and as an adult she lived and worked in Toronto for many years. She returned to Cambridge with her sister, Florence, who predeceased her by twenty years. Isabel was a member of St. John's-on-the-Hill United Church, a member of the Galt Horticultural Society and was a volunteer with the Cambridge Library Gallery.

    Lovingly remembered by her cousins and extended family and friends. Miss Robson was predeceased by two sisters: Aileen Gingrich (2003) and Florence Robson and by her parents, Morton and Florence Robson.

    Funeral service was held at Coutts Funeral Home, Cambridge on Friday.

    Miss Florence (Bubs) Christina Robson of Cambridge passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 22, 1982. She was in her 59th year. Born in Ayr in 1924, Miss Robson was a daughter of the late Morton Robson and Florence Gress. She lived in Toronto until she moved to Cambridge six years ago. She was an adherent of the Knox's (Galt) Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two sisters, Isabel Robson of Cambridge and Mrs. Orville (Aileen) Gingrich of Ayr. Funeral §ery ice was held on Friday, December 24th from the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, Galt. Interment in the Ayr Cemetery.
