Weber, Laura, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Scheidel, was born in Waterloo Co., Ont., June 23, 1892; died at Kitchener, Ont., Nov. 8, 1978; aged 86 y. On June 6, 1917, she was married Allen S. Weber, who died on Sept. 23, 1977. Surviving are 3 sons (Vernon, Gordon, and Ralph) and one daughter (Sylvia Mrs. Homer Schwindt). She was a member of Floradale Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Nov. 11, in charge of J. Lester Kehl; interment in adjoining cemetery

On Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1978. at the K-W Hospital, Laura Schiedel, widow of Allen S. Weber of Route 1, Elmira, aged 86 years. Dear mother of Vernon of Route 2, Wallenstein, Mrs. Homer (Sylvia) ) Schwindt of Elmira, Gordon of Route 1, Alma, Ralph of Route 1, Elmira; also survived by 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; predeceased by two brothers. Friends called at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, until Saturday noon when removal was made to the Floradale Mennonite Church for funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

SCHWINDT, Sylvia Grace Peacefully, went home to be with her Lord, at her residence, Heritage House in St. Jacobs, on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at the age of 91 years. Sylvia Schwindt (nee Weber) is the beloved wife of Homer Schwindt of St. Jacobs (formerly of Elmira). Lovingly remembered by her son Larry Schwindt of the Philippines, a foster son Paul Quenneville of Elmira, one brother Gordon (Audrey) Weber, and sisters-in-law Ruby and Alice Weber. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Laura (Schiedel) and Allen Weber, and brothers Vernon and Ralph Weber. Friends and relatives may call at Floradale Mennonite Church on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Obituary of Gordon Elmer Weber

Passed away with family by his side at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday, September 3, 2018, at the age of 93 years.

Gordon Weber was the beloved husband of the late Audrey (Bauman) Weber (2013). Loving father of Stuart and Lois, Murray and Charlene, and Bert and Jo-Anne, all of Elmira. Devoted grandfather of Kimberly (Steve) Fyke, Nicholas (Rachel) Weber, Christina (Trevor) Page, Tim (Elena) Weber-Kraljevski, Jen (Brent) Weber, and Jeff (Emily) Weber, and seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister-in-law Alice (Mrs. Ralph) Weber. He was predeceased by his parents Allen and Laura (Scheidel) Weber, siblings Sylvia (Homer) Schwindt, Vernon (Ruby) Weber, and Ralph Weber.

Gordon farmed on the 12th of Peel for much of his life and had a great passion for maple syrup production.

Beloved husband of Alice (Habermehl) Weber for 54 years. Dear father of Roger and Darlene of RR 2, Wallenstein, Yvonne Dettweiler of RR 4, Brussels, Ross and Vernelda of Hawkesville, Steve and Carol of Moorefield, Darrell and Sheila of Palmerston, Darcy and Lorna of RR 1, Elmira, Gary and Lori of Elmira. Also lovingly remembered by his 16 grandchildren. Brother of Sylvia and Homer Schwindt of Elmira, Gordon and Audrey Weber of Floradale and brother-in-law of Ruby Weber of RR 2, Wallenstein. The Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at the Floradale Mennonite Church at 1 p.m. (Friday) with Rev. Fred Redekop officiating.
