    William Henry Klosz Passes - Funeral service for William Klosz of Drumbo was conducted from the R. W. Rumble Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon with Rev. G. P. Gregersen of Willis United Church, Drumbo officiating. Mr. Klosz died on Saturday, May 20th at the Drumbo Nursing Home. He was in his 86th year. Born at Plattsville where he attended school, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theobold Klosz. Following his marriage in 1909 to Anne Lillico, he farmed on the 9th line. Following the death of his wife in 1939, he lived in Toronto for several years. He made his home with his daughter Mrs. George Strickler for about 16 years and had resided at the Drumbo Nursing Home since 1964. He was a member of Willis United Church, Drumbo and had been a member of the Drumbo Curling Club. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George (Erma) Strickler of RR 3 Bright, Mrs. Jessie (Margaret) Richardson of Toronto, Mrs. Mert (Grace) Cuthbertson of Bright and one son Jack Klosz of Paris. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Douglas Strickler, William Strickler, William Murray, William Simpson, Douglas Booker and Robert Gravill. Interment was made in Ayr Cemetery.

Jane (daughter of John Lillico and Elizabeth Craig McEwan) was born 12 Jun 1870, Blenheim Twp., Oxford Co., Ontario, Canada; died 5 Jul 1939, Woodstock, Oxford Co., Ontario, Canada; was buried 7 Jul 1939, Ayr Cemetery, Ayr, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada.     Margaret Richardson

    Margaret Mary Richardson (nee Klosz) of Ottawa passed away peacefully on September 29, 2005, at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa after a short illness. She was in her 95th year.

    Born in Drumbo, she was a daughter of William Klosz and Jane Anne Isabella Lillico.

    Survived by her daughter Jane Griffiths and husband Peter of Ottawa; daughter-in-law Barbara Robertson of New Zealand; and her grandchildren Annie, Jesse and Michael Griffiths, Celeste and James Richardson.

    Predeceased by her husband Jesse; a son Michael; sisters Erma Strickler, Grace Cuthbertson; and brother Jack Klosz.

    A memorial service will be held at Willis United Church, Drumbo on Monday, November 21, 2005 at 1 p.m. Interment Ayr Cemetery.
