    STRUTHERS, Edith E. Of 515 Langs Drive, Cambridge, on Wednesday, March 11, 1987, at Fairview Mennonite Home, Edith Hamilton, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late William Struthers (August 29, 1986). Dear mother of Ross and his wife Irma of Cambridge (Blair), Robert of Marathon, Stanley and his wife Beth of Cambridge. Lorne (Allan) and his wife Eva of Ayr, David of Dallas, Tex., Harold and his wife Lorna of Cambridge, Charles and his wife Marlene of Sioux Lookout, Shirley and her husband Cameron Schiedel of Kitchener and Ruth and her husband Lawrence Caldwell of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by 32 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, five brothers, Percy of Dundas, George of Puslinch, Harvey of Ancaster, Morley of Barrie, Roy of Barrie and one sister, Hazel (Mrs. Roy McCartney) of Dundas. Predeceased by one son, Donald and five brothers. Mrs. Struthers was born in Carlisle, Ont. and had resided in Cambridge for the past 64 years. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church, president of the Golden Rule Bible Class, for a number of years. A member of the Missionary Society of St. Paul's. The family will receive friends at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Thursday), 7-9 p.m., Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, March 14, 1987, at St. Paul's United Church, King Street, Cambridge, at 2 p.m. Interment Preston cemetery.

    STRUTHERS, Robert Glenn In loving memory of Robert Glenn Struthers, a naturalist, artist and electrician serving the community of Cambridge and surrounding area's electrical needs for over 75 years. Robert passed away peacefully April 5, 2016, in his 95th year, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital surrounded by all his immediate family. Predeceased by parents Edith and William, three brothers; Donald, Ross, and Stan, son Donald, and grandson Johnathon. Survived by daughters Carol Connor (Bryan), Brenda Struthers (Don), sons Robert, Bruce (Joanne), John, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, and his sisters Shirley Schiedel (Cameron), Ruth Caldwell (Lawrence), Ann Rahn (Ken) and brothers Lorne (Eva), David (Marridale), Harold (Lorna), Charles (Marlene). All are welcome to the funeral services, to be held Saturday, April 9th at 10 a.m. Visitation on Friday, April 8th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, ON. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.

    STRUTHERS, Lorne

    Passed away peacefully, with family by his side on Monday, July 31, 2017, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 93rd year. He is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife Eva (2016). Beloved father of Larry (Diana) and Allan (Denise) and proud grandpa to grandchildren, Jennifer (Regis) Dugal, Susie Hegan and Jonathan Struthers and great-grandchildren Dylan, Aline, Jakob, Brielle, Austin and Cotter. He will also be missed by his siblings; Shirley (Cameron), David (Maridel), Harold (Lorna), Charles (Marlene), Ruth (Lawrence) and Ann (Ken), sister-in-law Irma, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by brothers; Ross, Stan (Beth), Robert (Lorene) and Donald. Lorne owned and worked at the family business, Struthers Heating/Struthers Contracting for over 50 years. Thank you to the staff at C.C.A.C for their help and support, especially Luba for her compassionate care. Family will receive guests at T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge, on Thursday, August 3rd for visitation from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017, in the Funeral Home Chapel, at 11 a.m. Burial to take place at Parklawn Cemetery.
