    EBY, Almeda May (nee Ober) - Passed away, at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, on Thursday. April 29, 1999, in her 93rd year.

    Beloved wife of the late Clarence Eby. Loving mother of Kenneth and his wife Beulah of Kitchener and Elizabeth and her husband John Pulley of Holland Centre; proud grandmother of four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren: dear sister of Wilbert Ober and his wife Rita of Kitchener, Delores (Mrs. Bob Heimpel) of Fishermen's Cove, Jean (Mrs. Alvin Letson) of West Montrose and Violet (Mrs. Bill Walls) of Kincardine. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Arlene Ober of Kitchener. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

    Predeceased by her parents, Loreina and John Ober; by two brothers, Delton and Ron Ober and by two sisters, Beulah Ober and Lolay Querin.

    Mrs. Eby's family will receive friends and relatives at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, May 3. 1999 at 11 a.m. Interment at Wilmot Centre Section Cemetery.

    Kenneth Clarence - Passed away peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday September 24. 2002, at 75 years of age. Ken is survived by his dear wife, (Mary) Beulah with whom he celebrated 52 years of happy marriage on September 23. He'll be missed by his children and grandchildren, Sandra Shantz, her husband Brian and their children Adam, Bradley and Luke; Carol Lawless, her husband Don and their children Josh, Katie and Marc. Ken is also remembered by his sister, Liz, her husband John and their family. He was predeceased in 1977 by his father, Clarence and in 1999 by his mother, Almeda. Born on June 15, 1927 and raised in Kitchener (Centerville), Ken retired in 1990 from Uniroyal-Goodrich after 45 years of loyal service. He enjoyed spending summers at Paul Bunyan Camp in Bayfield and gardening. He was an avid Jeopardy fan and a patient caregiver to Beulah for the last seven years. Ken's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 12 noon - 1 p.m. A celebration of Ken's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, Saturday, September 28, 2002 at 1 p.m., with Harold Hildebrand Schlegel officiating. Ken's family thanks the 6th floor nursing and therapy staff as well as the Chateau Gardens staff and residents for their kindness and support.
