    RUTH THORMAN

    Funeral for Ruth Thorman, 37 Moore St, will be held Friday at St.. Peter's Lutheran Church at 2 p.m.

    Mrs. Thorman, 50, died today it Golden Years Nursing Home.

    She was born In Cambridge and lived all her life and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

    Survivipg are her husband Elmer, son Robert and daughters Carole, Janice and Donna all of Cambridge, sisters Mrs. Nettie Adams, Mrs. Gladys Adams, both of Kitchener and Mrs. Arthur (Hazel) Snautch of Cambridge and two grandchildren.

    Friends and family will be received at Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., until Friday noon followed: by the service at the church. Interment will be at Park Lawn Cemetery.

    Donations to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer Society as expressions of sympathy would be appreciated by the family.

    The casket is to be closed, by request of the family.

    DOLBEER, Janice Mary (nee Thorman)

    Passed away peacefully in Cambridge on Sunday, February 9, 2014 surrounded by family, in her 61st year. Jan was born to the late Ruth Knack and Elmer Thorman November 23, 1952, predeceased by her brother Robert Thorman. Jan was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Janice is survived by her husband Craig; her daughters Jessica and Maggie; and her sisters: Donna Graham, Carol Thorman and Carol Thorman (nee McDonald). Janice was a teacher with the WRDSB for 32 years. Janice loved spending her winters in Tucson, Arizona and her summers in Southampton, Ontario. Visitation will be held at the Lounsbury Funeral Home , 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge on Wednesday, February 12th from 4 - 6 and 7 - 9 p.m. A celebration of Janice's life will be held on Saturday, February 15th at 1 p.m at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 810 King Street, East, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital where Janice received excellent care.     Robert John (Rob)-Peacefully, at home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Saturday, April 23. 1994, in his 40th year. Beloved husband of Carol MacDonald; devoted father of Kelly, Julie and Scott, all at home. Rob is survived by his three loving sisters, Carol, Janice (Mrs. Craig Dolbeer) and Donna (Mrs. Randy Graham), all of Cambridge. Greatly missed uncle of 27 nieces and nephews plus one great-niece. Son-in-law of Robert MacDonald and Shirley MacDonald, both of Cambridge. Rob was born in Cambridge and was a lifelong resident of the area. Predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Ruth (Knack) Thorman. Rob was President of E. Thorman Construction Ltd. He was also an active supporter of Cambridge Minor Sports as a coach of Preston Minor Softball, Preston and Cambridge Minor Hockey Associations and Cambridge Minor Baseball. He helped coach the 1993 Single A Provincial Champion Major Tyke Cubs. He was a past president of the Cambridge Home Builders' Association and former Church Council Chairman of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 588 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church on Tuesday, April 26, 1994 at 1: 30 p.m., with Rev. Norris Heubner officiating. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery.
