MRS. CLARA TRUSSLER

Mrs. Clara Trussler, 78, of 830 Queen's Blvd., Kitchener, died of a heart attack at her home Monday, Jan. 2. She had lived in the area all her life.

The former Clara Wideman, she was born March 25, 1882 at Elmira, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Truman Wideman. She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical United Brethren Church, Waterloo. the Women's Association and the Women's Society for World Service.

Her Husband, Byron Trussfer, died Dec. 27, 1947. She was predeceased also by a son in infancy.

Surviving are three sons, Ralph, Irvine and Ross, all of Kitchener: three daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Elsie) Hallman of Kitchener, Mrs. George (Ruth) Scoble of Waterloo. and Mrs. Peter (May) Moody of Hamilton; a brother, Edmund Wide- man of Kicthener, Mrs. Hilda Schmidt of Elmira and Mrs. Em- ma Bauman of Waterloo and nine grandchildren.

The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home. Kitchener, where Rev. Howard L. Brox will conduct the funeral Thursday. Burial will follow in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery.

At St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Thursday, March 21, 1991, aged 81 years, the former Elsie Trussler, of Waterloo. A member of Lincoln Heights Missionary Church. Daughter of the late Byron Trussler and the former Clara Wideman. Wife of the late Stanley Hallman. Dear mother of David and his wife Laura of Belleville and Jack and his wife Edna of Elmira; loving sister of Ralph and his wife Helen of Waterloo and Ruth Scoble of Waterloo; cherished grandmother of Matthew and Sarah of Belleville and Kelly, Nicole and Corey of Elmira. Predeceased by two brothers, Ross and Irvin and one sister, May Moodie. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., after 7 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m., on Monday, Rev. Allan R. Shantz officiating. Interment Waterloo Mount Hope cemetery.

Peacefully, following a lengthy illness. at Freeport Hospital Health Care Village, Kitchener, on Friday, Sept. 28, 1990. Mrs. Moodie was a long time resident of Freeport Hospital, age 76 years, and had belonged to Emanual United Church, Waterloo. Survived by a brother Ralph and his wife Helen Trussler and sister of Elsie (Mrs. Hallman) and Ruth (Mrs. Scoble), all of Waterloo. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Anne Trussler of Waterloo and Elva Trussler of New Hamburg and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Peter and brothers, Irvine and Ross and a twin brother Ray, in infancy. At the request of the family there will be no public visitation at the funeral home. A public memorial service will be held at Freeport Hospital Health Care Village (3570 King St. E.) Kitchener, on Monday, Oct. 1, 1990, at 2 p.m. in the hospital chapel. Rev. Heidi Sievert and Rev. Harold Wright officiating. Interment, Mount Hope cemetery, Waterloo.

Ruth Gladys (nee Trussler) - At K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Saturday, April 19, 1997, following a courageous, five year battle with cancer. Mrs. Scoble, age 78 years, of Waterloo, was a member of Calvary Memorial United Church, Kitchener. She was predeceased by her husband, George in 1973. Loving mother of Sylvia and her husband Gerry Clouthier and Charlie and his wife Shirley, all of Waterloo; dear grandmother of Jeff, Samantha and Olivia. Survived by a brother, Ralph and his wife Helen Trussler of Waterloo and sisters-in-law, Anne Trussler of Waterloo and Elva Trussler of New Hamburg. Predeceased by brothers, Irvin and Ray (in infancy); a twin brother, Ross; two sisters, Mae and Elsie and parents, Byron and Clara. Mrs. Scoble's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday at 12 noon until time of service and committal in the chapel at 2 p.m., Rev. Karl Sievert officiating.
