    MRS. ELIZABETH MITCHELL

    PRESTON. May 13\emdash A resident of Preston for the past 55 years, the death took place Monday at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, of Mrs. Elizabeth Fleischman Mitchell, 82, widow of the late Charles Mitchell. Deceased had been removed to hospital as a result of a fall three weeks ago when she broke her hip. Born in Neustadt she lived in Galt before coming to Preston. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church and also of the ladies' Bible class. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clayton Scherer and Mrs. George Russ, both of Preston, and one son, W. C. Mitchell of Detroit, three sisters, Mrs. J. Haugh of Lindsay, Mrs. L. Rockel of Kitchener, Mrs. M. Kerney of Walkerton, 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Her husband predeceased her in 1925. A son, James, predeceased her in 1934. Three sisters, Mrs. Sophia Kleinsteuber, Miss Minnie Fleischman, Mrs. C. Rhode and two brothers, John and Fred Fleischman, also predeceased her. The remains are at the H. K. Stager Funeral Home, Queen and Argyle streets. Preston, from where the funeral will be held on Wednesday at 2.30 p.m. Interment will be in the Preston cemetery.

Mrs. Scherer was born and lived all her life in Cambridge (Preston). A member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (Preston), for funeral service, Saturday, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment Parklawn cemetery.

Beloved wife of Harold W. Bartholomew; dear mother of Harold William and his wife Shirley of Guelph. John Clayton and his wife Jean of Elmira, Shirley and her husband Robert Nanson of Scarborough and Delores and her husband Wayne Thaler of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Roy Scherer and Franklin Scherer, both of Cambridge. Predeceased by her parents; one brother, Carl and one sister, Marjorie MacDonald. Mrs. Bartholomew was horn in Cambridge (Preston) and was a life-long resident. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Cambridge. She and Harold had just celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in October. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Thursday), 7.9 p.m. and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will he conducted at the funeral home Saturday, Dec. 21, 1991, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment Parklawn cemetery, Cambridge.

He served in the Royal Canadian Navy in the Second World War. Lillian Ehrhardt, beloved mother of Pastor Larry Ehrhardt (Sharon), Linda Ehrhardt, Karen Ocelak and Janice Chapple (Bruce). Proud grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of eight. Lillian will be fondly remembered by the staff and residents of St. Luke's Place, where she was a 20 year resident. Mrs. Ehrhardt is at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, where friends may call today (Tuesday), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, at 2 o'clock at St. James Lutheran Church (96 Queen St. East, Cambridge). Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
