    Emil Ewald

    Word of the death in Brantford this morning of Emil Ewald, well known in Preston, has been received by relatives here. He suffered a heart attack. Born in Preston 54 years ago, the late Mr. Ewald lived in town for some years. It was here that he married Nancy Wirsching. For some years be had been connected with the Grand River Railway and the Lake Erie and Northern Railway, holding the position of agent for the latter line in Brantford at the time of his death. He was a member of the Lutheran church. Besides his wife there survive the following brothers, William and Martin of Preston, Louis of Detroit, George of Wiarton and Jacob of Waterloo and Mrs. Henry Schulz and Mrs. Tom Murray, both of Preston who are sisters. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
