    Of - RR 2, Breslau, at St. Marys Hospital, on Tuesday, May 13, 1980, after a brief illness, 69 years of age. A member of St. Aloysius RC Church. She was a cashier at Grobe Nursery since its formation and wife of the president, George Grobe. The former Genevieve Huber, wife of George Grobe. Mother of Peter of Kitchener, Paul of RR I, Breslau; grandmother of Perry, Patrick, Gina, William, Brenda, Jo-Ann and Michael; sister of Wilbur (Buddy) of Kitchener, Katherine "Tuddy" (Mrs. Hugh Underwood), Cornilia "Conny" (Mrs. Carlo Kuntz), both of Waterloo. Predeceased by her parents, Martha and John Huber; one brother, Edward of Waterloo and one sister, Regina (Mrs. James Livingstone) of Kitchener. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, Benton and Church Streets, after 2 p.m. on Thursday. Parish Scripture service will be held at 8 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Friday, May 16, at 9: 30 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Aloysius RC Church, Rev. L. Keasey, CR, officiating. Interment Woodland cemetery.

    GROBE, Paul John

    1941 - 2017. Passed away after a courageous three year battle with leukemia, at Grand River Hospital, in Kitchener, on Friday, February 17, 2017, at the age of 75. Loving husband and best friend of Maryanne (nee Isley), for almost 54 years. Sadly missed by his children, William Grobe and Tracy Anne Tait, Brenda, and Steve Snider, Joanne, Michael and Lindsay Frankland-Grobe. Grandchildren, Kevin and Jocelyn Jacob, Liam and Joshua. Survived by his brother, Peter Grobe. Also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Linda Isley and John and Jackie Isley. Predeceased by his parents, George and Genevieve Grobe ( nee ) Huber. Up until his retirement Paul was a co-owner of Grobe Nursery, which he joined in 1964. He was also a founding member of the Waterloo Chapter of Landscape Ontario. He was a charter member of the Maryhill Knights of Columbus. Friends are invited to share their memories of Paul with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, February 19, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered at 3: 45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church 240 Hemlock Street, Waterloo. Reception in the Church Hall to follow. Interment at Memory Gardens Breslau at a later date.
