ARCHIBALD, Lorraine (nee Doering) 1932 - 2016 Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of J. Gordon Archibald, who predeceased her in 2013. Loving mother of Don (Kathy), David and Steven. Cherished grand- mother of Jennifer and Annika. Pre- deceased by her parents Lloyd and Wilhelmine (Minnie Doering). Also predeceased by siblings Ralph, Donald and Laverne, sister-in-law Roberta (Donald) and brother-in-law Floyd Talbot. Remembered by sisters-in-law Doris Doering, Ruby Doering and Thelma Talbot and many nieces and nephews. Lorraine was born in North East Hope Township. She grew up on a farm near Baden, ON., and later on a farm near Tavistock. Lorraine loved her family and friends and especially being a grandmother. Some of her friends date back to elementary and high school years. She has many scrapbooks, filled with fond remembrances. Lorraine's family will receive relatives and friends from 11: 30 a.m. - 1: 15 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday at 1: 30 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at a later date at Williamsburg Cemetery.
