William H. Humphrey

GALT - William H. Humphrey, 25 Grandview Ave., died Saturday at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt, He was 81. Mr. Humphrey was born at Southampton. He had resided in Galt for 13 years. He was employed at Preston Furniture Co. Ltd. until retiring in 1959. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Elizabeth Binns in 1958. Surviving are two sons, George of Toronto and Wesley of Woodstock; two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Pearl) Cunningham of Toronto and Mrs. Gilbert (Jean) Crossman of Galt; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The body is at Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Preston Park Lawn cemetery.
