    Gladys M. Johnstone

    PRESTON, May 28— Following a serious illness of eight days, Gladys Mae Johnstone, 28, of Preston, died early today. A life-long resident of Preston, Miss Johnstone was born here and attended the local public school. She was employed at the Preston Springs for some time and for the last two years at the Canadian Buffalo Sled Co. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Margaret Johnstone; five sisters, Mrs. Melvin Christie, Marie, Ellen and Irene all of Preston and Mrs. Carl Krueger, Hespeler; four brothers, Eric, Leslie, and Herbert of Preston and William in the army of occupation overseas. Her father predeceased her in 1939 and a brother Harold in 1941. The remains are resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Thursday at 2: 30. Interment will be made in the Preston Cemetery.
