    MOYER, Elton

    Of St. Luke's Place, Cambridge, on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 1994, at his residence, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of his late wife, Alma Schnaeringer. Dear father of Floyd and his wife Doreen of Kitchener and Marlene and her husband Keith McLear of Alliston. Also survived by one brother, Herb and his wife Janet of Ayr and one sister, Elsie Durant of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by six grandchildren, Brian Moyer, Cheryl Richard, Karen Moyer, Mark McLear. Blaire Hadwen, Michelle Randall and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his father and mother, Edwin and Laura and two brothers, Lloyd and Howard. Mr. Moyer was born in Puslinch township and was a lifelong resident of the Waterloo Region. He was a retired farmer and co-owner of Kitchener Silo Co. Ltd. (1960-1975) and a member of Zion United Church. Cambridge. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Wednesday), 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral and committal services will be held at Zion United Church, Speedsville Road, Cambridge, on Friday, Oct. 28, 1994 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Cecil Wittich officiating. Interment in Preston Cemetery.

    MOYER, Floyd Harvey

    Died suddenly, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, May 25, 2002, in his 71st year.

    Beloved husband of Doreen (nee Marshall); loving father of Brian Moyer and his wife Sandy, Cheryl Richard and her husband Jack and Karen Moyer. Cherished grandfather of Becky, Sara and Jessica Moyer, Mallory and David Richard, Jared and Maresa Singh and great-grandfather of Lee-Anne Moyer. Floyd is survived by one sister, Marlene McLear and her husband Keith.

    As a hobby, Floyd was an antique tractor collector and restorer of Massey-Harris. He is past president of the North Dumfries Plowman Association. In 1995, Floyd was the host of the International Plowing Match and a former owner of Kitchener Silo Company and Sealstor Silo Company. His greatest joy was taking his grandchildren on tours with the Family Motor Coach Association,

    Friends were received at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (653-3251) Monday from 7-9 p.m. and will be received Tuesday, May 28, 2002 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrews United Church, 546 Montrose St.N., Cambridge on Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
