OAKLEY, Mildred

Died peacefully, on Saturday, March 12. 1994, age 72 years, at St. Mary's Hospital, following a courageous struggle with cancer. Loving and supportive mother of Don and Gladys of Kitchener, Jim and Shirley of Waterloo, Murray and Betty Ann of Winnipeg, Larry and Bridget of Kitchener: grandma to 12 grandchildren who will miss her caring and friendship, Luke and Nancy: Trevor and Chris: Darcy, Kevin and friend Becky, Shawn, Neil and Lisa: Illisha, Vanessa and Bryce. Predeceased by her husband, Clarence (1983); her parents, Leander and Ida Woelfle and her brothers, Norman, Clayton, Vernon and her sisters, Margaret Oakley and Hilda Fleischauer. Mildred was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and the Friendship Circle. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 821 King St. W., Kitchener, this evening (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 825 King St. W., Kitchener on Wednesday at 11 am., Pastors Fred Ludolph and Don Pond officiating. Reception in the parish hall. Cremation will follow with a private family committal service at St. Peter's Cemetery.
