WOOD, Robert

Of Kitchener Road, Cambridge, on November 25, 1992, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Marion Sharman; dear father of Marian Comeau, Margaret (Mrs. Paul Stauffer), Jan (Mrs. Jamie Robertson) and Jim Wood. Lovingly remembered by 10 grandchildren, Dean and Dan Comeau, Jessica, Robert and James Wood, Sarah, Matthew and Wood Stauffer, Steven and Elizabeth Robertson. Also survived by three sisters, Janet Pleasance, Helen (Mrs. Munro Fraser) and Margaret Wood. Predeceased by his mother and father and one sister, Elizabeth Hill. Robert was born in Cambridge (Preston) and was a retired trainman from the Grand River and CPR Railway. A member and past elder of Knox Preston Presbyterian Church, life member of the Pioneer and Galt Sportsman Club, Ancient Mariners Canoe Club, Galt Swinging Eights and a member of the senior citizens of Preston. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral and committal service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 28, 1992 at Knox Preston Presbyterian Church, Cambridge at 1: 30 p.m. with Rev. Al Beaton officiating. Interment in Preston Cemetery.
