    Miss Joan Pringle

    PRESTON, Jan. 8., Native born and well-known Preston resident, Joan Kingsmill Pringle, youngest daughter of the late A. D. and Alice Pringle of Preston, died at a nursing home in Toronto yesterday. Miss Pringle had been ailing for a year and a half and had been confined to the nursing home, for two weeks. Born in Preston, she received her education here and at Hamilton. For a number of years she was representative for the North American Life Insurance Co., in Preston. She lived in Preston and district all her life. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church. Her father predeceased her in 1942 and her mother in 1945. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. James Rooney of Toronto and Mrs. Herbert Griffen of Lima, Peru; three nieces, Mrs. Oswald Shenk, Toronto; Miss Mary Griffen of Montreal and Miss Patty Griffen of St. Thomas. The body is resting at the residence known as Craiglatch, Preston. The funeral will be held a St. John's Anglican Church, Preston, tomorrow at 4 p.m. Interment, will be in the Preston cemetery.
