    Harlis Leo Goetz, GUELPH

    A native of Maryhill who has lived in Guelph for 35 years, Harlis Leo Goetz, 57, of 36 Durham St. died Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Maryhill June 25, 1901, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Goetz. He was employed by the city of Guelph. He was a member of Our Lady RC Church, Guelph and the Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife, the former Amanda Seitz whom he married at Maryhill in 1926, two sons, George and William of Guelph, two brothers, Hector of Guelph, Leonard of Maryhill; one sister, Mrs. A. J. (Loretta) Reinhardt of Kitchener: three grandchildren. One brother predeceased him. The body is at Gilbert MacIntyre Funeral Home, Guelph, where the rosary will be recited Wednesday, at 8 p.m. Requiem mass will be solemnized Thursday, at 10 a.m., at the church. Buriel will be in Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.

Beloved husband of Sally (Rivard) Goetz; dear son of Mrs. Amanda Goetz of Guelph and the late Harlis Goetz; dear father of Michelle (Mrs. Elio Tedesco) of Guelph, Debbie (Mrs. James Parisotto) of Waterloo, Wendy (Mrs. John Reid) of Arkell and Michael of Guelph; dear brother of William and his wife Betty of Guelph. Survived also by five grandchildren, Peter, Christine, Robbie, Adam and Holly. Resting at the Gilbert Macintyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph (after 2 p.m. Wednesday). Funeral on Thursday morning, Nov. 27, to the Church of Our Lady for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 o'clock. Interment Marymount cemetery, Guelph. Prayers on Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday afternoon, 2-4 p.m. and Wednesday evening, 7-9
