MRS. LUCY RANDALL

PRESTON, July 23— Well-known Preston resident for the past 35 years, Lucy Liddwell, widow of the late Jacob R. Randall, died suddenly at her home Saturday afternoon at the age of 85 years. Apparently in good health, Mrs. Randall was engaged in mowing the lawn at her residence when she suffered a heart attack to which she succumbed before medical aid could be called. Word of her sudden death came as a distinct shock to many friends. Born at Erin, near Guelph, Mrs. Randall resided there until coming to Preston and making her home here 35 years ago. Her husband, J. Randall, predeceased her in January, 1944, while two sisters also predeceased her. Surviving is a brother, George Liddell, Hazel Park, Michigan, and a nephew, Thomas Liddell, who has made his home with her for some years. The remains are resting at the residence. 1,050 Vine St., Preston, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 2: 30. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
